I think our own Army (U.S.) could learn a lot from the Legion's jungle training. I believe ours is not done in Hawaii, which really isn't a jungle environment. I know some units (82nd) do go down there for training w/the regular French Army.

You can, you just have to pass the test. I had a small colour blindness and I got recruited. It just depends on how bad it is. Sure it made me struggle a little with camouflaged stuff, but that's natural, everyone will have its strenght and weaknesses. Do the Ishihara Test, find out how much you're colour blinded, and then go and try
@@bibas5021 When I did my vision test it was colored numer into colored circle. Just this, anyway I think you can call the French Foreign Legion office at Aubagne to ask for questions
