about 80% of the spices in the world come from India, of that majority are from Kerala. Trivia- Vasco Da Gama the Portuguese explorer was looking for spices and India and landed here searching for it oin Kochi and so did the British and the Dutch> Spice was so precious that the trading was done via sign language with hands whilst hiding it under a piece of cloth. You can see the infamous spice market in Kochi.

At Granit's age I could never name ingredients. He does seem interested in cooking. It will be great to watch him make it a hobby or who knows maybe a profession
Try sharjah shake, North Kerala muslim snacks, avil milk, pazham pori (banana fritters), Kerala style biriyani - the only biriyani in India where it has Arabic influence, Coconut Toddy and their variety spicy🌶 food, kathakali performance, Aleppy backwaters, munnar, wildlife safari in thekkady, varkala beach, do try their classic parotta with beef (Buffalo), duck dishes, puttu with kadala curry, coconut milk appam with chicken/veg stew, fort kochi, kulukki sherbert etc
My observations and suggestions: 1. You and your wife are so respectful, caring, great listeners and one can see you are transmitting these values to your kids. Amazing 3. I pray that you and your family grows up with all the experiences that you are undertaking but you never grow old. The former is a precursor to the latter. 2. You should stay like a Hindu joint family in the same home even when everyone grows up. That's how most rich business families in India stay. Family which eats together stays together.
Papad/poppadum is not a bread its more like a crispy/potato chip like. Typically its eaten with rice-gravvy to give a little crunch / texture especially for plain dishes like rice with dal/sambar/rasam in north its served in restaurants almost nobody eats it at home.
Hi! I liked your video. But, just FYI, paratha is spelled parotta in most of South India. And pappadum is not actually a bread. It’s more like a crunchy snack.
