Hello :) please go and follow my lovely gf who was the model in this video:
...
We went out on a small trip to the nearby forest to test out Panasonic's 12-35 2.8 lens. All footage recorded on GX80/GX85. If you have any questions feel free to leave a comment. Unfortunately 4k60fps is not possible in this camera so the video is made in FULLHD 60fps and upscaled in export so the compression doesn't destroy it even further :).

This looks great! I have a GX80, a GH5, an FS5 and severel the cameras, but for size, convenience and quality the GX80 is just awesome! Nice job!

I used custom one, Ive put saturation and contrast all the way down so its closer to cinelike. And than color corrected in post

I miss my G95, the S5 noticeable heavier and I have to control over exposure much more. S5 is better for low light.

Do you use any gimbal? Or just handheld?

This video was full handheld. But both lens and camera got stabilizer.

@@johns_video i have gx85 to, but when i shoot with walking the footage little bit shaky. I use kit lens. Are kit lens dont have stabilized?

the grading is so damn good, how did u color grade, and what software you used? i've using the same camera and the same lens, the output is totally no match to yours

Hi, thank you! I've just set up some basic corrections in Premiere Pro, and used standard LUT from KODAKs defaults which are stock in PP :)

Very cinematic... nice lut. I have a GX85 and G85. On the GX85 I downloaded the CIneD hack. The GX85 actually has CineD in the firmware and all the hack does is turns it on. Hope this is a help.

@@johns_video Hi Rob, Sony makes great cameras. I have the original Sony RX100 as my small stills camera and the colour science of pictures straight out of camera is incredible... everyone comments about pictures from it... its been used for commercial photography and no one knew it was shot by a tiny camera. Sonys focus system is superb. Bang for buck Panasonic is the best for video and affordable lens options. If you have the cash to spend the latest high end Sony is great for video but you will end up spending probably $7000 total kit with lenses and filters at a minimum.

@@johns_video Have you got the Panasonic Lumix G 25mm f/1.7 ASPH lens. If not it's really cinematic. Personally I think the GH5 could be what you are looking for... the GX85 can then become your B camera and all the lenses will interchange. Gear isn't everything it's the talent behind it and I think you have that. Just keep filming and get into Davinci Resolve for editing and colour the other NLE's are no competition.

How is the auto focus tracking when you used this camera for this short b roll Was it relabel ??

Yea it was all auto focus, I didnt use manual at all. I guess it worked fine. Im selling the camera now as I bought Sony A7 III, GX80 was good for beginning but after all I've decided to upgrade :)
