Highlights of Grimsby Town's return to the Football League after a six-year absence with victory over Forest Green Rovers in the National League promotion final. (15 May 2016)
Bristol Rovers fan here. Whilst I was delighted that we won the final the year before, I felt genuinely gutted for the Grimsby fans and players. Most vocal and friendly fans I've ever seen, and they became my honorary second team after that. I watched this in my living room and cheered when Arnold's goal went in!
Seeing Nathan laid on the floor sobbing after scoring that late goal gets me every time. The fact that he lost his mother earlier that season and was off on compassionate leave no doubt affected him.
LCFC better look after Nathan Arnold, he means a lot to us at GTFC, will always be remembered for THAT goal and his celebration. Welcome back anytime Nath. UTM
i watch this over and over everyday it was our day to return to the football league and the best way to say goodbye to some good , great and amazing players that have now departed from the club
Nathan Arnold will always be remembered at grimsby town for the winning goal and his final ever goal for the club !! this will be remembered for many many years
I'll never forget this moment from the boys also Arnold basically taking us up its a real shame he is at Lincoln now but I do wish him best for his career
