I am pretty sure thats the first time I have heard anyone say they will drill something by hand for more accuracy....but it came out well so you obviously acheived the required level of accuracy ..😉 It certainly looks the part but I personally would reduce the length of the bolts , simply because when I hand tap anything I always start by holding the middle of the tap wrench and the long ends will probably get in the way a bit. Overall I like it..nice and simple but effective suits my way of working too. Good one thanks for sharing
I wouldn't wish the set I have on anyone. lol I think it's a Pittsburgh, but most of it is barely able to chase threads. Most of this kind of stuff is getting upgraded at HF though. If it's been rebranded with like a Maddox or Bauer I might try them, but for now I'm happy picking up Irwin's as I need them.
