That has to be the smallest slitting chisel I've ever seen made. My smallest is just over .125". Precision work and looks great John!

That had to be a real challenge! One slip on the treadle and it'd been squished flat! Looks like it'd make a good sailor's needle for sure. The real test is to use it to make a ditty bag.

This challenge should be extended to all yt blacksmiths!

Great and clean work as always. What was the metal your punch was made from? It looked tough

beautiful, but in order to help the big hole of the needle, the sharp point should be thick enough to make a large hole on leather, like gladiators blades, thank you for the videos .

I wouldn't use that to sew a hole in me socks the size of that needle it would make another hole twice the size of the first hole

You can do it better. Without any grinding i'm sure.
