This looks like a very interesting game!

How important is the luck ? Is there's way to mitigate bad luck ?

This game has a ridiculously bad rulebook. I think it is the worse rulebook I own, and I own over 150 boardgames. It. Is. Terrible. The designer has not been readily forthcoming regarding clear details about what errors are present in the cards and the rulebook. I agree with the other commenter on designers lack of community engagement. It took months for me to get a 'clearer' sense of the problems., and I'm still not 100% sure. The game is ok. I like the art but it does all look a little washed out when looking at the whole package. I am tempted to back this just to get a smaller box (the box was a ridiculous size for what it contained) and the fixed cards and rulebook. Sort of ridiculous that I have to pay money to get corrected cards AND pay more shipping than what the replacement cards costs. This game stands out as one of my kickstarter regret purchases, the only reason why it is not my worst regret is because it didn't cost a ridiculous sum at the time. I would have sold it ages ago, but it's an unknown game, so I wouldn't be able to sell it at a price worth selling it at. I'm stuck with it, and just hope that maybe I can play it with my daughter when she gets older. Hence, me hesitantly paying money for the fixes, argh.

The first campaign was a dud. There’s a potentially good game under the rubble that is an awful awful rulebook. People worked together on BGG to piece it together but the designer was mostly absent. And let’s noteben talk about the humongous box. Complete overkill for a game that could (with all its components) easily fit into a small box like say Race for the Galaxy
