Years have passed and I still love this music so much. We listen to that with my friend on Warthunder when we go into "Blitzkrieg" mode with our Tiger tanks or Jagdtiger. Totally epic and unstoppable Many thank's Rantam 😉
Wow.. thanks Cédric. I do really appreciate you taking the time to write that. I'm really happy you still listen this song from time to time :) Best regards
Muchas gracias, Álex. Se agradece que a pesar de haber pasado tanto tiempo haya gente que todavía recuerde esta canción y ese gran mod que es Forgotten Hope :) Un abrazote
Yo big fan of this track mate!!! its half the reason why i love FH2 so much!! Captures the feeling of ww2 and specially of the british-german battles so much! -Wulfburk here.
Glad you like them, Wulfburk. It took quite a lot of effort to get the final version of the song, and I assure you the FH community helped a lot during the creation phase (I posted the early versions of the song at FH official forums so people could write what they thought about it). But despite not being perfect I'm quite happy with the overall result, as the main objective was to capture the WWII battle atmosphere and I do agree with you: that was achieved :) Kindest regards
Thanks Kalatov! Well.. I've made more "battle music" for other projects. Check for example "Padlocked", "The Raven" or "Dominant Fury", for example. Check the first one here (all the others are in the same RU-vid channel): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hsJX_iAQsAA.html Oh, and you may want to check also "Catapult". You may like it... Is not exactly a "battle song", but it is somehow! :) For more music check my website: www.rantam.com
Hi niichee, I really appreciate your kind words, thanks :) In my experience the software you use is not that relevant, specially regarding DAWs. Just pick the one you prefer, most of them have the same functionalities and quality results. Back in the day I used Cakewalk Sonar, which is free nowadays. Another good option to consider if you're a newbie is Reaper. Regarding plugins/effects is more or less the same. Most DAWs include all necessary effects plugins (EQ, compressors, etc) and even some intruments. There're tons effects or orchestral plugins available and it's a matter of personal taste and price, so just try to find the ones that suit you and get them (many offer demos or are available on sale). Check Arturia Augmented strings for example, which is available for free until April 30th 22. In my personal site (www dot rantam dot com) you may find guidelines about what you need to start creating music with your computer (check 2005's posts). These post may have some years now, but they still apply. It's not a bad idea to check RU-vid, there're tons of reviews and interesting videos there to start learning about music production :) Regards Ps. Don't forget to check more of my music at my website. I've created music in all sort of genres, but if you like this one you'll find other orchestral songs you may like ;)
