LOL - How do you get the chrome ring that covers the seal to come off the top of the slider? Everyone says "It has a notch - just pop it off" ... well, I've beat mine with a hammer and a screwdriver - it sure doesn't "just pop off"...

Does this apply to V-Rod Muscle? I want to change the springs and oil only.

pulled mine apart today. either I lost that brass washer on the bottom bolt or it wasn't on there. there was a rubber film/coating at the base of the bolt though. do you know where I could find a similar washer? I'm not sure what to look for?

The F is the same as the R pretty much. look at the manual.

The concept is pretty much the same way. When we did the R it was the same. just a tad different,. just take pics and follow video as you do it.
