I took an online course and got a certificate. Still that’s only part of the power. With practical experience needed, I figured these videos are the next best thing.
I used forklift certification institute. They have a free study guide and let you take unlimited quizzes (10 random questions) and exams (20 random questions before you pay anything. I got 20% off for taking a quiz (you can also get 20% off taking an exam) then I took quizzes until I passed 3 with 100%. I then took exams until I also passed 3 with 100%. Then I took the paid $40 exam (all 50 questions but if you do enough practice quizzes/exams you’ll run into all the questions) and passed. Trying to get hired on at a Costco warehouse preferably driving forklift so I’ll let you know how it goes.
Now that I got a certificate, watched these videos, downloaded a manual, etc; If I don’t get this job then I’m going to apply for others and just say I’m forklift certified
Exactly. Would you give a driver's license to someone who just watched a video on how to drive a car? All you guys with your forklift certification videos, if you were a warehouse owner, would you let some guy start moving things around in your warehouse after watching your video? No you wouldn't.
Well I'm back watching and I have to say, I can sit and watch these as my new favorite type of video. My first day on the job was Tuesday, and now my actual fork lift training begins tomorrow. I'm excited and nervous. Thanks for the toots!
Thanks for taking time out of day/life to make these tutorials. Got certified for sit down & stand up lift🎉🎉🎉 they said they've never had an entry-level master both in a few hrs. Definitely couldn't have done it with so much confidence if it wasn't for ur vids❤ next, is the electric pallet jack🤞🏽
i just got a job in a warehouse and this helped me thanks the tips leaving the mechanics career need something less harsh on my body and with getting paid what i was for doing engine swaps and what not i took the job opportunity right away and i love having my tools at my house and you ever run a pry bar or box over and they call it damaged lol i would love to work there lmaooooo
Man Joe, I have recently just saw you on RU-vid and in 2024 or before, I want to become a Certified Forklift driver and your videos have been a God send man. Keep up the great work and thanks for everything
Do you have any video training using double forks forklift? I just started working in a port and some days we have to strip containers and put in warehouse
Hi I'm KofJoe from Ghana You accelerate to fast the lifting of good, my question is, this that don't have neutral how and u do that as a beginner ? 2 does this matching as packing break?
These pallets are wrapped, you can turn on this occasion . In my warehouse we wrap some and don’t wrap some . It all depended on our trip with it and location .
Before you drive backward, you must and should look behind and check. This mistake can make you fail the test. Never drive or swing with forks rising up I am attending a forklift driver certificate course right now
The tilt function always confuses me I put it on the rack and the forks won’t let go of the skid. I don’t know when to tilt and so forth. I get confused.
@@forkliftjoe3620 how can I tell if the pallet is levelled? I have a hard time figuring that out. Should I get out and look from the side to check if it’s levelled? Thanks for your help 🙏🏽🙏🏽

@@BlockworkGlo Where are you located, which country. I inquired at a foklift training school here in Toronto. The fee per machine is $130. But they have package promo for five machines for just $350 1 Counter Balance 2 Reach Narrow Aisle 3 Order/Cherry Picker 4 Walkie / Rider Pallet Jack 5 Dock Stocker I think I will avail this and hopefully I can start on monday. But the trainer says the training for those 5 machines will be finished in just one day. Theoritical, written, and practical training. Like what??? 😲
@@BlockworkGlo nice. I am jobless right now so I could not do these things in an actual settings. I have no choice but to go to the training center and pay big bucks. I should have done this before 5 years ago. I ignored the forklift jobs because I was enjoying the work in the production line as a packer and production labourer. Now I have regrets. It's like I am starting all over again now at 48. Do you think I am too old and too late to learn to operate these machines?
So with that battery right under that seat why would you want to be buckled in? You know that if that forklift tips over the battery will bend that little sheet metal latch that keeps the seat down. If you are buckled in and that battery is forced out you would be smashed through that headache rack. I never use my seatbelt because of how stupidly dangerous it is on this style lift
