I absolutely do want to do that! I did mention a lot of things during some of the speedrunning livestreams, but my goal is and will remain creating guides about every aspect of the game from race, class levels, secrets, combat styles, speedruns, boss fights and honestly just everything i know might help out a little! The speedrun guide might take a little while, though, but feel free to ask any questions. Id be happy to help out! I want the game to get moee runners!

That would be amazing, but i'm afraid everything will probably need to go perfect. Exits right outside of the spawn room, 8 blanks from traders, no random automaton in doorways lol, plenty of pickaxes for the end. I know I could of saved around 50 seconds pretty easily from decision making, but even that would be a 16:50. There might be about a minute to save from using pickaxes and maybe a better spawn, but even then we're only looking at 15:50. Sub 15 might just be possible, but it'll be a very rare and beautiful thing.

@@LyciantYT maybe get a spellbook of digging or pickaxes from the merchants in Hamlet because I believe your level of trading could potentially let's you see what they have to offer or maybe I am wrong and the appraisal let's you do that. But overall it is possible as long as you have great RNG .

@paulandone4918 yeah, i had 3 pickaxes in this run. Usually have 4-6 i figured id get a few more from the gnomes on floor 15-19, but that didnt work out haha. Also spell of dig can work, but its a little slower, staff of digging would be ideal with charging scrolls!

@@LyciantYT if you get your hands on a Staffs of digging and charging scrolls from both magician merchant and probably the scroll merchant in Hamlet. It would benefit you in the last levels without cluttering your inventory with the same item and maybe have it in your hotbar too.

Yeah, if you find a digging staff its worth holding onto. You can buy charging scrolls in hamlet. But the biggest bonus you'll have is being able to break walls at a distance allowing you to break several before you reach it, technically saving you 0.5 second for each wall you need to wait at. But this rarely happens so any kind of pickaxe would be good enough for the insta breaks and you can use the repair scrolls to fix them up as well.

yes it does Every door triggers them to crawl out. So you basically have to open a door on each side once to get most enemies.

Just like Krieger's mentioned, opening the doors triggers the ghouls on that side of the map to spawn. So for the run we manually trigger them. Might just be motion in the doorframe, but either way it works.

Normally yes. But the run is start to finish. Got a timer in the corner ticking away and also show the end card and frequently my inventory. I can imagine ways to splice and dont think it should be allowed, ill be doing a faster run soon enough though and make sure audio is working properly.
