The USA HAVE BEEN ENERGY INDEPENDENT FOR MANY YEARS. If the price of oil in the USA goes up when there are international tensions, it is the result of capitalist american companies that want to make more money by selling oil on the international market instead of the national market. Anyway, we can still import cheap oil from Canada when needed as Canadian oil has no where to go than south.

Concerns about climate change and societal push back against fossil fuels have made it difficult to build new refineries, even as U.S. and international demand for refined products continues to grow. In 2023, oil refinery capacity in the United States amounted to approximately 18.4 million barrels per day. Although refineries are operating at full capacity, they may still have difficulties in meeting daily energy demands. Crude doesn't matter if you can't make products out of it. National market can only buy so much. Storage is also a problem. Fracking costs more than just drilling. When it costs more than you can make by selling the product then the product will not be made. Business is not IN business to help people. They are in business to make money. People do not generally do things out of the kindness of their hearts while receiving nothing in return. Even staunch Communists learned that simple lesson.

Putin specifically stated he knows Trump wants to resolve conflict. He never implied democrats do or that he would prefer to negotiate with them over Trump. He did state democrats are predictable, but he also stated he is willing to negotiate with Trump. He never stated he would be able to negotiate with democrats. In my understanding, just because they are predictable doesn't mean they can resolve any conflict or are experienced and qualified to negotiate foreign affairs with Putin.

The Markets had to do a correction between 10 to 20 percent it will take a yearish so invest in things that are low risk. I am a little worried about what is happening out in the world with Iran, Russia, China and North Korea (Harris called them our allies).
