By your logic, if a cop does something bad, then you compartmentalize it and disassociate the two. Are you a cop? Are you related to or friends with a cop(s)? That would explain the unrealistic bias. The truth is Mr Borg, Blue Bloods aka: The police are the very definition of organized Crime. They put people in jail and destroy their lives on a pick and choose basis. They arrest people for drinking and driving, or for drugs and they themselves go to their local Blue Blood bars, and drive home drunk without any problems, and they sleep sound at night, without a guilty conscience, but yeah, this guy "wasn't a real cop" smmfh.
