Now I see clearly that Republicans aren't the only party in America under the influence of a cult of personality. But I think Barack Obama has done an excellent job of distancing himself from that sort of thing. It was instructive to watch him quiet the cheering of the crowd so that he could get on with his speech.

Put your party aside and listen to this beautiful speech. Republicans, do you really want Trump to represent you and your family? Stand up and do something! You know you deserve a better representative than simple minded trump. I know his simple language appeals to some folks who have not as great education and layman speak is understandable to all. But presidency and dealing with highly educated world leaders (who got where they are not by nepotism) is where you need a smart president. I live in Chicago. There are immigrants that have moved into my apartment complex and we have no problems, they have seemed to find jobs and are just living like everyone else. What problems are you referring too?
