Former first lady Rosalynn Carter dies at 96 

So sad to hear of her death. Now she is at peace and rest. She was a beautiful person. I’m sure Jimmy Carter isn’t far behind.

I loved her bitter, crestfallen face on election night 1980 when the Reagan landslide happened.

It was a curse. 4 years of a weak foreign policy and disastrous economic one.

Behind the scenes she was bitter and vindictive. Just like her husband.

@@ruwaanarora8230 From the news magazines of the times. Carter was known for holding grudges against any perceived wrongs. He and Roslyn never got over the landslide defeat they suffered in 1980 at the election of Ronald Reagan. Carter has also long had an anti-Israel bias.

dreadful to think about it but you’re 100% right; they were soulmates; i always seem to not take the talk about death in a realistic sense; its the thing of fear the most and my worst nightmare; i just feel my heart and my stomach both sinking to the bottom of the ocean leaving me in a overwhelmingly anxious and fearful state of mind. 😭😭😭

but i wish if jimmy lives up to the age of 100. i also wish if he surpass the late queen mother's age

He’s been on hospice since February but I’m praying he will reach 100. However since she just passed it definitely won’t help 😞
