Former Franklin County Sheriff's deputy charged with murder of Casey Goodson Jr.

After nearly a year of investigative work, former Franklin County Sheriff's deputy Jason Meade has been indicted with the murder of Casey Goodson Jr.
Meade was indicted Thursday on two charges of murder and one count of reckless homicide. The charges were filed in Franklin County Court.

How is the obviously bad cop going to continue with that raggedy ass lie that Casey Goodson pointed a gun at him when Casey had keys in lock and was holding a bag of subway sandwiches?! The fact that cop was free for a year after putting a young black man in the ground is an extreme injustice.

Don't say someone in an "ex"anything unless they were a private citizen at the time. These shooting are also worrisome because we were brainwashed starting with westerns, but didn't learn not to shoot in the back .

I just don't understand why this trial has been dragged out this long how is shootn someone n the back 6 times justifiable he literally is not a threat to u when he is away from u the amount as well makes a difference 1 time it's still murder but certain points could be argued however 6 fkn times is definitely murder

He saw the gun as Casey got out the car and then went after him... He claims he was not the suspect they were looking for but to this cop he was. He ran up on him and shot him as Casey put the key in door so he would not go in the home. So Casey has one bag in his hand his elbow holding up the screen door key is in the door about to enter and is shot as he is entering. IT HAPPEND FAST I doubt the cop even said anything.

I hope Casey Goodson changes history with Qualified Immunity and forces officers to be fully accountable for their actions!! It's a terrible shame that this change, deprives him of his life but, at least it's not in vein & Jason Meade will spend his life in prison, when he's found GUILTY!! Casey Goodman was an INNOCENT MAN! RIP ❤❤❤

I honestly think if you just picked random people off the street to be cops for a year and paid them well, you'd get better results for the community. These types of stories would be cut in half at least.
