🗣️ 'I got really sick and tired with so many of these Cabinet ministers endlessly promoting themselves,' says Iain Duncan Smith 'Far too many people took their constituencies for granted' 🎧 Listen: telegraph.co.u...
Have a look at the press coverage of the cosy get-together between the Conservative government and the party's MPs on March 31, 2022, at a London luxury hotel. A line of poor people who had lost loved ones during the pandemic lined up outside the hotel's main entrance, holding up homemade signs of protest. The Conservative MPs, of course, ignored them and told reporters that they were looking forward to their evening of food and wine with Boris. Iain Duncan Smith seems to have forgotten that he was one of them. Shame, shame, shame.
I wonder if any of these Tories have any insight into their fall from power. Bad policies, a cruel, selfish ideology and a good deal of arrogance were at its core, but the egregious corruption these led to was almost inevitable.
