[Former World Record] Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion 1-1000 Speedrun

One speedrun, three recovered world records.
From the last time I had world record we have discovered boatloads of new tech for Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion. Specifically Specimen 2 got an updated form which makes him MUCH faster since the puddles don't reduce speed, we use a controller support option to make alt+tabbing doable during chases with ethereal enemies, a room detector was patched INTO the game allowing us to react to RNG a bit better than normal.
This run achieved 1-500, 1-750, and 1-1000 World Records as of 12/3/2020
1-500 is a 24:40 and happens at 24:55
1-750 is a 39:24 and happens at 39:38
1-1000 is a 56:04 and happens at 56:18

It's not a spooky mansion tho, though it's "Spooky's Mansion" the mansion of a girl name Spooky. Yet they are still spooky nowadays and nostalgic.

The fact is if he got a bad ending it will be fit tho. Spooky: I don't know how and why you run through my mansion 1000 door and defeated one of my specimens in less than 1 hour, you know what you'll be a fine specimen.

Correct me if im wrong, I've played spooky's and there's no way you can recover stamina that fast, and sprint isn't that fast

I explain it in the run 1. I use a Sticky Key glitch to recover stamina and have faster loads since it interacts weirdly with GameMaker 2. If you run Diagonally you go faster, this happens in many games like Doom

It's the "Howard" Room. It's a random chance to get at any point but you essentially are locked in until you interact with a certain amount of things and wait. I use sticky keys after mashing the door to bypass both

are you aware that someone has reclaimed the throne again recently? also, Specimen 2’s puddles not slowing down the player as much anymore is actually a bug...one of MANY new bugs in the latest version.

Must have been recent, as well reclaim only works if they have had it previously. Also what are the other new bugs?

@@Ecdycis someone with the channel name “SG_masterpigman” did it on March 8th in 51:27. And the new bugs include (but are not limited to): 1. A texture bug where many of the jail cells are replaced with strange, grey vat-like containers, as you probably noticed. 2. Spooky no longer wears her Halloween costume “Red Death” in October or on Halloween. 3. In Endless Mode, White Face is entirely bugged out and won’t spawn anymore. 4. In Endless Mode, after Tirsiak’s chase ends, the game has a high chance of crashing. 5. You can now quit the game while being chased in Endless Mode, which you’re not supposed to. (this never applied to story mode)

That is the Howard room, it is based on findings or time. I mash lock a few times and use the Alt Tab glitch to let me make the games events happen at very fast speeds skipping the wait

I wish speedrunners would upload alternate versions of their runs without the commentary. I have no real interest in seeing a person yammer over something that should be cool to watch. Had to give up about four minutes in.

He is using hacks because when he is low on stamina he press some keys and its gets refilled also he is running to fast than the player was supposed to you would get a few second added on the speed run if you don't hack but since he is hacking its taking less time so why are you hacking for views hacking is wrong so play the game right or don't play it at all Hacking means your a noob and you have no idea what to do so don't hack

@@HedgiePlay 20:20 - GameMaker's diagonal movement exploit. Everything else (cutscene, stamina, and loading screen skips) is the sticky keys tech he explains in his 1-750 run from a few years ago: alt tabbing to the sticky keys activation popup specifically for some reason causes a massive game speedup, you can see it on door screens when the cursor pops up in the center of the screen. At least know what you're talking about before you go working yourself up over nothing.

Probably because you are into Spooky's and wonder how someone would go through 1000 rooms, to sincerely answer your question on the channel there is a version of the run that DOES explain how things work, it should be in the playlist I mentioned
