Incredibly clean run Benji! I only saw 3-4 minor places for any time save and that's with doing basically every trick first try. An inspiration as always! I only have one question, have you changed your settings or setup at all recently? Looks to me like you have the perfect amount of lag. I feel like for me my screen stays black for maybe twice as long on PBC's.
I have changed my setup yes, however I don't feel like my PBCs or the lag I get has changed at all. That being said the PBLs do feel a little different now and as you might have noticed I don't use slow mode anymore except for the twin launch at the very start, so I guess something has changed but it still feels the same to me. One other thing where I did notice a difference tho is that I can't to SNJs with a single F11 press anymore lol, so all my PBCs are now done with at least 2 F11 presses.
i have a question. when you kill yourself to get back to a meditation point in the tower on koboh and fast travel to gorge crash site, couldnt you also fast travel to landing pad? or is the mantis not there at that point?
The Mantis will only be at the landing pad after fighting Dagan in the Forrest Array. Since we skip this fight, the ship stays at the crash site and we have to clip into it, luckily it is still completely functional so it's just a minor inconvenience.
I got a question about the screen on 19:00 is it supposed to be that? Was there supposed to be some kind of cutscene here but they just decided to describe to you what happened? Very confused indeed. Never played the game so I wouldn't know
We assume it is some sort of fail safe put in by the developers if anyone happens to get into that tower before they are supposed to, that screen is then probably supposed to give a short summary as towhy you are here. If you get into the tower as intended though there won't actually be a cutscene there
how are you phasing through the walls on some parts, i noticed the stop in frame right before you enter it, so im assuming its like most games where you pause and start the game for the right frame but i don't notice you doing it at all, unless you're pressing start and unstart that quick
To phase through walls and other things you need the game to lag, on consoles this is indeed done by simply pausing the game. On PC the game doesn't lag enough when doing so, that's why we instead make use of the F11 key to switch between fullscreen and windowed mode. This results in a lot of lag that makes this tech called PBC (pause buffer clip) work.
@@MrBenuto_ aaaaahhhh yeah i was wondering why i didnt see the pause menu, i know the technique used from watching a lot of speed runs but i couldn't make since of this one since the game just literally freezes
A man fought some stormtroopers on Corasaunt with his freind Bode but crashed his ship on another planet where he ran around some ruins and found there was another planet nearby. A random frog man fixed his ship and flew it to the the other planet where a strange voice told him that his freind Bode was a muderer. Your freind Bode and his kid was here so Cal murdered his freind. A lady with a staff also showed up to help kill Cal’s freind Bode.
After triggering the cutscene at the top of the elevator we want to die as quickly as possible, that's why I switch to the highest difficulty so that I take as much damage as possible from voiding out
