Good perceptions and insights. The Dallas Cowboys should have been in the NFC championship game. Not Green Bay. The Dallas Cowboys were getting ready to go up 21-7 just before halftime. Romo changed the play and went back to the shotgun formation. He once again turned into CHOKO ROMO and did not watch the snap all the way into his hands. The ball bounced off of him and he had to recover the fumble. A broken pass play where he was being rushed and had to throw the ball away in a rushed fashion. The same broken play caused him to get a jammed finger injury. Off sides on the ensuing field goal attempt and they had to attempt the field goal from that much farther. The field goal was missed and Green Bay had good field position and time to get into position to kick their own field goal just before half. A six point switch at minimum. An eleven point switch actually because Dallas should have scored another TD just before half and with no time left for Green Bay to do anything. Dallas let that game get away from them like a slick bar of soap. Poetic justice for Green Bay to let a game get away from them in even worse fashion just one week later. That kind of loss that will stick in the craw of Green Bay fans and players for DECADES to come!!!! Maybe even until the next ice age is upon us.
