Formerly conjoined twins reunite with doctors who separated them l GMA 

I love the fact that even due to the spinal cord injury that stopped one of the twins from walking, she didn't let that stop her from reaching her full potential, being incredibly active even in a wheel chair, just another example that obstacles are only there for you to overcome. God Bless them, their family and all the health workers that made this possible.

Just a miracle, so proud of them and how incredible those Doctors and Nurses were for their hard work and dedication to help these two young Ladies...So many of us watching this segment ..say Thank you!! Thank you!!

Their parents (despite how difficult it must have been, especially right after welcoming them into the world) gave them the opportunity to have full, individual lives. I’m glad the family was able to reunite with so many of the medical professionals involved in the beginning of their story.

This is the kind of heartwarming news that we can never get enough of, & news that truly lifts our spirits...God bless the girls & their loving parents, & of course the entire medical team...❤

I remember this story, when they showed them on TV. I had prayed for their surgery and for their parents. They are gorgeous young ladies. Keep aiming for the stars.

I’m so happy to hear an update on them! I prayed for them and their family and followed them through their separation surgery and beyond until the updates fizzled out.

One of my surgeons as a kid was one of the very first doctors to separate twins who were conjoined at the head. Done at UCLA in Los Angeles about 20 years ago or so.

This is amazing. The family and the doctor should do a documentary on the twins.

What lovely girls. I watched a programme about two men who died in their 50s who were joined all their lives and it was a very very difficult life although they kept up their spirits. They couldn't be separated. I am so glad these girls have done and are such wonderful girls. It was definitely the best option even given the risks and even given the stroke that led to on in a wheelchair who is doing so well with her basketball. Well done to the doctors too of course - these are very difficult operations, particularly 20 years ago

I remember watching a special on the girls many years ago; it’s great to hear they’re doing well! BTW: salute to their dad, Kevin, who was a drum major for the US Marines Commandant’s Own drum and bugle corps!

They seem like such wonderful human beings. Very happy for them. And props to their surgical team, support team, and parents. And props to Charlie Gibson, too! I miss Charlie.

Erin and Jade, I remember watching when you went in for separation surgery, and felt bad that you (Erin) are paralyzed from the waist down. I wondered how you both were doing over the years. I’m so glad you’re both doing well. As my friend Christie’s dad, both have passed away, used to tell us, when we were in college, “Study, study, study”. Do good.
