Ah... the praises only MIG and TIG-ers would be privileged to hear. The comments would be different and all trash and criticisms if he was using a SMAW welder aka the stick welder
You can only achieve this level of craftsmanship if you pay attention at what are you doing, every day, and think about what are you doing, every day. Stay sharp people.
Excellent fit up!!! That giant ball bearing is a great idea instead of cooping each individual piece. I use to build stainless "Christmas Trees" feeders for plastic extrusion machines. Some had as high as 30 intakes.
Access to the proper tools and materials always helps. This craftsmanship is beyond incredible, I'd love to hear these pipes hooked up, and wonder what kind of vehicle will get them.
Yo this level of consistency and being able to preform it is what we need in the job force every one if your job doesn't make you happy work on something that dose
Impressive, I love coming across videos like this where it just showcases another way to do something. I thought for sure it was going to be a CNC'd part or something.
Awesome work, thanks for sharing! My Grandfather was a tool and die maker, that ball press is the kind of thing he would he would pull out of his bag of tricks. Awesome to watch people like this.
Like the steel ball trick to get the pipes into a circular shape for ease of connecting to another pipe. Never seen that trick before its a brilliant idea.. keep up the great work!!
I'm not even a welder, but I've seen enough welding vids on YT to have actually been visibly shocked by the thumbnail of the welds on this piece, and had to watch simply because of that. Had to check the comments to make sure I wasn't just a moron, but glad I actually have been paying attention lmfao. Good shit!
TIG welding is really top quality and visual on steels and alloys. the exhausts of the F1 V10 & 12 naturally aspirated engines from the 60s/70s, true masterpieces of pipefitters and welders of the time.
