This is super. Thank you for posting. From an outsider looking in I have often thought Colin Chapman treated Graham Hill not as well as he should have. He was World Champion for Lotus in 1968! Amon never did win a GP, one of the best who never did win a race.

22:44" - The guy in white shirt and tie guiding Stewart along - Neil Eason-Gibson of the RAC. I met him plenty of times - the last one at Pendine Beach when he led the RAC timing team for the Bluebird Electric speed record.

Refueling those cars looks dangerous!

And refueling back then was not a scheduled part of the race strategy. I recall that era of F1 racing very well, and you can scan around RU-vid for video to verify this, but back in the 1960s into the 70s, the F1 racers went flag-to-flag without refueling . . . hence is why the F1 cars of that era were not using dry-break fueling nozzles. Pit stops for tire changes were not regularly scheduled, either, for the race . . . as the F1 racers of that era drove the entire race on a single set of tires. I really miss the simplicity of those days of F1 racing.

There were 5 Lotus cars in this race - Rindt, Hill, Miles, Bonnier & Siffert.

The guy reporting from the pits is masterful at speaking in between noise of cars passing by 8:01

full race?

I assume that full broadcasting wasn't quite common in the '60s. Also, if races were broadcasted in full, they existed only in TV archives and may have been lost, as videorecorders did not exist back in the days. A lot of races from '70s and '80s races are on youtube because people recorded them from tv.
