@@Lastname6955 well, but it's kinda pain & time consuming to convert something as street / road to a race track, need to install anything needed & having all things sorted for the local goverment to permit road closure. In permanent race track, they were already available. But yeah, this is maybe what they are & what make them unique.
Because they want to sell the whole “electric car” idea to the general public that drive on the road by making a FORMULA car that is electric drive on the road.
they need heavy braking points in order to constantly recharge the battery, which street circuits have. Normal race circuits would completely drain their battery in only a dozen laps
