First time watching, commentary and film review: Forrest Gump 1994 ‧Comedy/Romance part 2 Watch the full film reaction on Patreon: / venezuelagirl #moviereaction #firsttimewatching
Yes...I'm sure others have already said it...but what you're doing is more "commentary" than "reaction." You are talking over VERY important and emotional dialogue and thus missing the best things about the movie that's playing right in front of you. People watch commentary to gain knowledge of things like the making of the film or the decisions to this or do that. People watch reactions to see you REACT...with real emotion...it's the closest thing we can get to seeing it again for the first time. Just let the movie play and let your emotions play YOU.
Forest's speech on the Mall; "When boys go to Vietnam, sometimes they come home to their mommas without any legs. Sometimes they don't come home at all. That's a bad thing. That's all I have to say about that."
According to Tom Hanks himself, this is what Forrest said at the Vietnam War protest rally: "Sometimes when people go to Vietnam, they go home to their mommas without any legs. Sometimes they don't go home at all. That's a bad thing. That's all I have to say about that."
This is one of the worst reactions I have ever seen in my life. The complete lack of emotion, understanding, empathy. I had hoped that after seeing your terrible reaction to a different movie, that maybe this one would be better. It wasn't. I've never given so many thumbs down to a reaction channel.
@Dave-yq8rb Weer have that phrase in the US, too. But, Two peas in a pod are two of the same. Peas and carrots are things found together. Our grocery stores sell cans of peas with carrots or frozen bags of peas and carrots. They're very different people, but always together... like peas and carrots.
Gary sinise the actor who played lieutenant Dan has done so much for the military and veteran community he has his own band called the lieutenant Dan band.
@@angelfishluva291 weak perspective. she doesnt understand the movie on an emotional level. she doesnt understand jenny's arch. she doesnt understand forrest's purity. she talks and cracks jokes the entire movie so she never has a moment to really get what's happening
"she doesnt have anything to say haha hahahah 😆 😆 ".....no she doesnt talk when he's talking because she's deeply depressed and trying to heal. i dont think ive ever seen someone who lacks the ability to understand human emotion like you. why did you talk the entire time just sitting around cracking jokes? how about for literally 5 seconds you just shut your mouth and internalize and think about what you're watching? my god this was unbearable.
There is so much US history in this movie, it's astonishing. I wonder if anybody has done a timeline of events shown in the movie, with real life articles on the subjects.
A lot of complainers in the comments section. People will watch hundreds of creators react to the same movie over and over and expect them all to have the exact same response to every scene, cut out only the exact same moments and nothing else, have nothing substantial to say about anything or you are just talking too much, and if the film did not carry the same emotional weight for you as it did for the viewer, then you have failed. It's kind of weird and pathetic. I feel like these people are lacking human connection in their real lives.
I think the issue was just so much talking, she talked over important parts. She didn't seem to try to make an emotions connection to characters, she seemed to expect Jenny to just behave normally, as though childhood trauma has no lasting effects. This was a commentary, not a reaction.
Forrest Gump is a fictional character who was written into America’s most famous historical moments throughout the 50’s-80’s. Not sure how much American history you know but this film takes the viewer throughout American history with great soundtracks of music through each decade. You keep criticizing Jenny but it’s obvious she has a self esteem/relationship problem and it all started with the abuse from her father growing up. That relationship set the stage for future relationships with terrible men who treated her badly. She needed to break the cycle. And Forrest who isn’t intelligent by some standards has the most pure and trusting heart of all. That’s how he shines. This movie is about life. It’s ups and downs, inspirations and discouragements. I don’t know if “Peas & Carrots” is a uniquely American term, but it means “get along well together or compatible.
The feather (which was real) was on a fine filament line and dangled and floated in front of a composite screen and then added to the background shots.
Hell Miss Venezuela, nice to see you for PART 2!😊 While Forrest Gump is a fictional character all the events he winds up in are real. Great reactions to the conclusion of this well loved film, Miss V!!!!🎬👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Jenny going through the pond in front of the Washington Monument: especially the way she was dressed, looks like it could have been shot for the movie The Princess Bride. Robin Wright did after all play Jenny in Forrest Gump and Princess Buttercup in The Princess Bride.
