Forsaken Psalm 22 Official Lyric Video 

Aaron Shust’s new song Forsaken (Psalm 22) is the second release of 10 Psalms on his 10th full-length album entitled Heaven + Earth. This Psalm is believed to have been written while David was in the desert, fleeing for his life from King Saul. Considered a Messianic Psalm, the opening line (“Eli Eli lama azavtani?” in Hebrew) was quoted by Jesus while on the cross, drawing attention to the remarkably accurate, prophetic statements finding their fulfillment even as He spoke.
