Seriously. The notorious "Did I just do that?" scene is what you'd put in an _internal_ monologue. Any normal person would be staring at the cuff like, "Okay. Explain. Now!"
What's worse is that they give you the option to pick the money bag, but only to say no, you need to save the cat first, you're not allowed to waste time picking up the money bag laying *right next to you* , and we will waste even more time saying "No" to your command.

@@MrGanjie So you could have a fun scene where they're(the humans and Fray) speaking gibberish to one another and then you could find some magical translation device Fray's people use for diplomatic missions. Or something like that.

what got to me about forspoken is how they had the mc be so stubborn as to refuse to acknowledge that her new abilities come from the connection with the vambrace
@@SavantPete How did the freerunning handle? It looked really well done. Shame they shut down the studio, it could have been implemented in a FLASH video game.
The Voice Actress has had the worst agent in the world.. Everything she has been the lead star of has bombed.. and it had nothing to do with her performance.. it was usually the script was just bad.. but her agent keeps getting her these gigs that ultimately the media bombs. It's very unfortunate.

Basically, the people who play those kinds of games get really, really nerdy about weapons and military equipment, and get into really granular arguments about it online. In this case, a guy who was in the military himself got so worked up over a debate about a fighter jet or something that he leaked classified documents just to prove that he was right.
That’s the entirety of the War Thunder community. I know this is a very small point, but she got sentenced to community service without being found guilty. This was clearly just an arraignment where she pleaded not-guilty, so the judge had no right to sentence her to anything

The child is just there to make the brooding protagonist to do a 180 and want to save the world, so I honestly don't really care since the child was never more than a plot device.
It would of been cool if the cuff was neutral/good person but being with the Fey enrages and twist him enough to turn into the evil one. Either is sent back in time and Fey is forced to right the evil that lives through the past to the current day. Like Fey is so much of an jerk that she literally makes the villain. All she needs to do is treat the Vambrace with some kindness!
I normally dislike when people eat when reacting but considering this is longer than most 90s animated movies and Internet Historian also personally gave Skitten the snack pass I'm down for this vid!!!!
Someone in the comments Already said it but the fact that We have an equivalent of an Isekai in a Video Game but screwed it up in terms of "Wizard Magic" is some bs😂
They didn't mention it but the combat is basically one button and there's no difference between the difficulty options. Other than enemies have more health
That whole 1st chapter should have been flashback cutscenes. They should have started with her waking up in the other world. Also, sometimes you just have the characters talk during gameplay and not use cutscenes. Like the part when she discovers she can use magic. Just have voiceovers while you are running around.
Literally nothing that happens in the prologue has any consequence beyond making Frey look like some kinda moron. Frey would have been way more interesting if she was just normal. No extensive criminal record. No footchases with gang members. No homelessness with a shoe collection. Frey work some menial job and reference being an orphan. Her hook could be her lack of direction before being pulled into the new world. You could even have some voiceover like, "Yeah. I know what you're thinking. This kid is supposed to save someone? She can barely keep her rent paid, right? We'll be getting to that." You also *_never_* make your isekai so connected to their real world that they want to go back!
@@silverblade357 that’s only if they die. This was the type where they are transported with the hook of if they finish the quest, they can go back. I think they were trying to go for this Han Solo type of story. She comes off as this person no one cares about (except the judge) and is fighting against being the hero. Solo kept being the hero, but going against it when everyone was telling him to stay. With her, everyone was still treating her like the people on Earth did. I think the problem is that they should have made it that the people saw her being a hero when she’s just saving her own life. Anti-woke people might see it as being a Mary Sue, but it would have been a pov thing from the other characters. Have her transport in near the city, do the tutorial so the city folk could see her fight and been seen as a savior. This gets rid of the duality of the girl being like the judge. It also, like you said, starts the process of her not really wanting to go back so bad. Make her want to help these people.
There's a million and one possible stories that could have been told via Isekai, from The Chronicles of Narnia, to Alice In Wonderland, to even (arguably) Dragon Ball Z. And this is what they went with.

I so so much wanted to like this game. Being advertised as a "free running" game, it disappointed me immensely when the first thing I did was try to jump at the side of the bridge and got the message that I can't go there. They wrote Frey like you would a side character that the main character would need to guide into a redemption arc. Except of course there is no likeable main character to balance it out, or to help her remption.
Love the vid definitely looking forward to skittensays half before I completely judge the game about to watch it now thanks I will let yall know my thoughts after I watch her half
Imagine how awesome a Static Shock or Black Lightning game would be with these traversal mechanics and combat system but much more refined and improved I think DC would have a pretty good chance at making some actual money and utilize a badass character that isn't used very often at all, hell they could make a game where you play as both Black Lightning AND Static and it could be like Forspoken and Infamous style traversal mechanics and shooting and I just think it would be cool and with James Gunn utilizing underutilized characters it would be the perfect time to do just that
33:00 This. This is easily among the worst scene transitions I have ever seen in my entire life. Frey waves at the guards for help, the screen fades to black, and it opens back up with her in cuffs being escorted through the city. The stupid part is that Frey looks down at her hands in surprise, as if she wasn't present for being confronted and arrested. This was beyond dumb and makes Frey look like a headcase! They clearly couldn't figure out how the guards would be capable of arresting someone who just fought a dragon, so they just skipped whatever it was. A better game would have just had her blacking out from exhaustion within view of the city and being taken into custody. Did nobody proofread this garbage?!

They could have just done magical Prototype. And they fucked it up. A more bloodthirsty Frey tearing a monster in half and assimilating it for more power would immediately make this game an 8/10
You know, I would be more suspicious of there being a single person who stood up for me in such a situation, since it doesn’t make sense for a random person to talk out against the council, then is treated as an equal as the council practically despite not even being apart of it in a court room! How did she manage to break her out of a prison that should have several watch guards?
If you want to play a game with a witty, talkative female lead that's actually likeable, and has telekinetic abilities...just play Control, it's a much better game than this.
Chiming in for Skitten's sake: Cheshire (as in Cheshire Cat) is pronounced more like "Cheh-shur". Not nitpicking or anything, it's a common mistake-- Cheshire is a town in North West England, so it's pronounced like the town's name. :) I hope that's at least interesting trivia, lol! I only know this because I live in England, and most place names here are not pronounced the way they're written.
@@osmaniesquijarosa4308 Most of them, yes! :) Like Leicestershire is pronounced as "Lester-shur". Worcestershire is pronounced like "Worster-shur" by most people, but "Wor-sester-shur" if someone really wants to enunciate it.
32:30 Honestly. Since I'm DM-ing and trying to make my players have a good experience in terms of combat/character/story I can safely say that I'm better at writing than the guys who wrote the script for this game.
It's so incredibly cheap! The characters are completely stock. The homeless angle is a blatant attempt at making her sympathetic, but she's so fucking smug and unengaged with the magical-world.
You know what this is? It's life is strange but with magic and fucking dragon, but they wanted fantasy so bad because they thought it was going to make the game Better but it's still life is strange.
Hey Chavezz longtime fan here, I never left I was hiding from the Russian KGB, Russian Skitten isnt funny over there aparently. I would love for you to check out peach creek, they are continuing Ed Edd n Eddy a few years after the show's ending and I think youd love it. The animation, backrounds and voice acting is very true to the original, along with references to the original show coupled with Twin Peaks references. Ive seen youre uploads and they make me smile, Im lurking and stalking when you least expect it.

You know you f-d up writing your main protagonist, when even the inanimate object attached to her arm is more likeable and relateable. Even when the writers try to make him evil by the end, he still has more charm and I cared more about him as a character than Frey.

i got so invested in this..how? also unpopular opinion: I like auden's face, it seems droopy but not in the sexy way that other game characters do with the lidded eyes. its more kind. Honestly, just put better dialogue and a higher quality graphics(and more realistic scenarios in the protag's life then just orhpan) and it actually could be good.

This game is basically final Fantasy mystic for the modern day. Basically final Fantasy mystic was a final Fantasy game designed with the idea of being appealing for westerners back then. It featured everything simplified to the point of being soo pathetic it was forgotten. This basically feels like the western equivalent of again taking an eastern story with a western twist Simplified to boredom.
What I really find funny is that even thougu it turned out to be the big villain, Frey completely disrespects and belittles the vambrace the entire time as if it's not the only reason she has power in the first place, like bitch know your place 😂😂😂
1:40 How do you messit all up? By giving you the ability to throw rocks for a long looooong portion of the game and letting you unlock any other (divoide of creativity) magic much later on. It's not even the cool Earth Bending type ether. It's just a generic "not a gun".
