I live in garberville and I try to make it to Fort bragg. I go to north coast brewery because great food and beer. I usually buy some beer to take home. Cheers 🍻
Thanks for sharing! Two new breweries are my preference now. Overtime Brewing opened five years ago and Tall Guy opened last year. Pat, the owner of Tall Guy was the head brewer for North Coast Brewing until he retired last year and opened his own palce.
Great video that brings back fond memories of Glass Beach the Skunk Train and fried abalone. My wife's grandparents were longtime residents in Fort Bragg and we visited often in the 1980s. Many of my afternoons were spent in the harbor fishing from the docks and eating fried lingueca on a stick from the deli.. My wife and I used to eat sub sandwiches from the Red Caboose. We're hoping to revisit the area within the next year....thank you.
Our favorite place to stay in Ft. Bragg is the Harbor Lite Lodge. We also enjoyed lunch at Capt. Flint's, but it closed years ago. Since we left California over 5 years ago, I have missed our visits to ft. Bragg. Thank you for sharing your experience!
Harbor lite has an awesome view!! Noyo Fish Company has shrimp won tons that many compare to Capt Flints. Thanks for the Comments and viewing my video!
@@geebee2576 yes, made many trips to Fort Bragg and remember Noyo Harbor back in the ‘90s was kind of sketchy and has changed a lot. One thing nice about Fort Bragg is it takes some effort to go there so it’s not totally destroyed yet!!
Thank you. That was fun. I was there several years ago with some friends. We had a good dinner to finish our weekend at the Wharf restaurant. We also took the Skunk Train, visited the Museum and an antique shop, and we were there for the annual Fish Fry Dinner at the Portugese Hall.
Harvest Market still going strong? I would get my breakfast there each morning and go park at lookout over the inlet each morning I was there on Biz. Good times.
Fart Bragg has become a place for criminal activity. The town has become run down. Fishing is heavily regulated. Don't buy gasoline there, the prices are 3 times the normal high cost of California fuel. The town runs out of potable water in drought seasons. Prices for everything is sky high.
