I feel so so sorry full the the residents and business`s of Fort Myers specifically, but also Anna Maria my wife are now retired and spent the last 25 years Holidaying in these fantastic places the last time being May 23,we drove around Fort Myers and were absolutely heartbroken to see all the devastation,we can no longer afford to visit now because its so expensive to stay anywhere in Florida also the cost of living crisis has unfortunately stopped us from seeing you all,we would just like to send our love to you all and hope you get these Paradise places back to what it once was.John & Bev from the UK.
Sorry for what they chose to build there that’s the risk that goes along with it and the politician should never allow it to happen. These areas should be left for parks and recreation and not ruined by businesses of resident so I think they can take over the beach.
Fort myers Beach escaped some really bad damage,this was still a bad storm but could have been much worse.thank you for recording this for future reference.👍😀🇺🇸
I used to live there, my son still does but was lucky and was in a safe place. I still have a lot of friends that are there not sure where the are. Am still thinking about moving back just to help out.
