Parents need to teach their kids in middle and high school that most relationships don't work, there is always somebody else out there for them, counseling is your friend whenever you need it, and here are some coping skills for you when you and your boyfriend/girlfriend break up: go to the gym, hang out with friends, write in a journal, cook a new dish for yourself, go for a walk, cry it out -- crying is just a way to relieve tension, take yourself out for some ice cream, buy yourself something nice that is still within or just slightly over your budget. We're raising kids who turn into young adults with no coping skills.

Where's all the black leaders that are so quick to call out cases of discrimination, yet are cowardly silent on calling out this kind of repeating behavior that's embedded in the culture. Where's the outrage for this? Absolute cowards who won't dare criticize black culture, let alone give a single fragment of a thought to how to address root issues.
