Bobby, about 4.30 into this video, the gentleman with the red bandana is my neighbor, Dink Thomas. He is a member of the Legends of Texas group that puts on the gunfight shows in the stockyards. He was also in the Yellowstone prequel 1883 as an uncredited actor for the first three episodes. Great guy, so cool to see him in your video of the Stockyards.

My dad used to work for Montgomery Ward, as a quality control engineer. He'd fly around the country, going to the factories, back when we had factories :), looking at the quality of the stuff his company was buying. In the late '70's, when I was 15, he brought back a "gift" from a cowboy boot company for me, and my sister, and my mom :) Just to be neighborly, I'm sure :). I owned those boots for 20+ years, I guess. Re-soled, re-heeled, many times. Fantastic friggin boots. Also made me an inch and a half taller :). They were great sport bike boots, as well. Quality costs, but is often worth it.

Thanks - brought back some memories. I was stationed in Oklahoma in 1981 and a couple military buds and I hopped in my pickup and had a great time there.

Go Downtown Fort Worth. Stay at the Worthington Hotel and really see what the city has to offer. Then hit the Art District and see some fabulous Art Galleries with so many important and famous works of art.
