I’m Kristin, a realtor in the DFW area and if you are looking for a little bit of country living, you are in the RIGHT place because we are taking a deep dive into the BEST places to find homes with land in DFW - today’s feature - the $700k price range.
Just a little about the areas we are featuring today-
These are current hot spots on the FW side of the metroplex for new construction
These locations are where you can find the most current available inventory as well as several homes in the works
And if you’ve watched any of my videos, you probably also know by now that you have to go outside of the metroplex about 25-45 min to find good options for homes with acreage.
WHAT YOU GET IN $700s+
A lot like the $600s you will either get more square footage or more acreage
However once you hit the $700k price range you start to see true luxury features
Not only Pristine neighborhoods, but jaw dropping exteriors with lots of windows, larger entry doors, stone and brick exteriors with beautiful accents
Vaulted ceilings and 8 ft doors would be a standard
Minimum 4 bed 3 bath 3 car garages
Stunning outdoor spaces - sliding doors, walls of windows, covered patios with decorative ceilings and outdoor fireplaces
Commercial grade kitchens with custom features, extra storage and top of the line appliances
Grand master suites with spa like baths
Bottom line, everything is fancier

#1 Vista Oaks - Granbury, TX
Granbury is a historic lake town located about 40 minutes southwest of downtown Fort Worth off of 377. It is a 17 square mile radius with a population of about 10,000 people
Vista Oaks is located on the South side of Granbury, about 10 from downtown. Its a new neighborhood with several options currently under construction by Premier Homes and scheduled to be completed early to mid 2022.
Lot sizes here start at 2 acres, prices are in $500s - $700s
These are more ranch and rustic style homes with features such as decorative ceilings, designer fixtures, crown molding
Kitchens with oversized islands, upgraded cabinets and appliances cabinets
Covered patios with fireplaces sometimes decorative ceilings
#2 Bella Oaks - Tolar, TX
Tolar is about a 15 min drive west of downtown Granbury, a lot of new homes going up here with larger lots and priced more competitively than its counterpart Granbury.
Bella Oaks features homes from $550k - $1M and lot sizes of 2-5 acres.
These homes are mostly around 3000 sq ft on one story.
Since it is so new, it is not very developed just yet. However it is easy to see will be a high end neighborhood with a wide range of custom homes and styles.
One of the builders here is Premier, who currently has several homes in the works on 4 acre lots. So if you are looking for more acreage with easy access to the lake and Granbury amenities, this may be a great location for you.
#2 Bear Creek - Aledo, TX
Aledo is located 25 min from Downtown off of 1187, is 3 mile radius with a population of 5500. If you have seen my other videos, you would know that what Aledo is mostly known for is higher end homes and a top notch school district.
Bear Creek offers not only luxury homes but luxury hilltop views.
This community features a gated entrance with mostly 2 acre lots, and prices ranging from $700k - $1M.
There is a wide range of custom builders and exterior styles leaning towards more modern and modern farmhouse type exteriors.
