5 years already crazy how this game once had the whole world playing this with joy

I’ve always found it so interesting how easy the game was supposed to be. The devs were like imagine your on a mountain and can walk across the river to get to the other side, that was the whole premise and then build battling happened

I liked when people joked about john wick building an entire castle when all he did was make a 1×1 fort and now building an entire castle is not even that impressive now.

The simple game that changed gaming forever. Hate it or love it, you have to admit that.

After all these memories, I want to thank epic. Might not always have the best updates, but it used to be great. Hope the og season captures at least a little of the joy we used to get.

absolutely legendary, i still remember the exact moment when my friends at my house asked me to download it, that's where it all started, i really miss it.

Remember playing this game in December of 2017 and thr nostalgia is great only if the game remained the same

This is the real game where console, PC & videogames started to matter me by an increasingly high rate. Though I quit Fortnite 3 years ago. It's still a nostalgic game considering I have memories when I used to play with my friends in Playground mode back in season 4/5 2018 (Chapter 1). It truly makes me feel happy but sad but this game will at least be remembered for around half a century (or maybe forever) since it's one game that made my life entirely onto the world of gaming. Excluding Minecraft that got me into video-games in around 2012, but videogames didn't matter too much for me then.

I hope someday we will all find a game like that takes the whole world by storm (not a pun) like Fortnite. So fun playing with people back then.

The game was awesome back then, getting on with your friends, looking at new weapons, new purchasable items, fun gunplay, a simple map with a special touch you can't quiet describe, actually building forts and enjoying the game knowing there wouldn't be "toxic sweats" some might say, and then it stops. The passion was lost for molding the game. It all reminds me of a quote really. "A tree falls the way it leans. Be careful which way you lean." - The Lorax.
