Really enjoyed this programme. Excellent points made showing that the Scriptures do teach a literal Millenial reign that has yet to come and only will come following Jesus' second advent. The only conclusion that can be reached by a plain, honest and face value reading of the Bible.

Totally agree with your ideas. After studying Revelation for 2 years I am absolutely convinced that premillenialism and pretribulation rapture is the correct end time theory.

Just so everyone understands, it's the Dispensational Futurist view (along with its particular Premillennial view) which is being espoused here. There are at least 3 different Premillennial views held by those who call themselves "Premillennialists". 1). The Dispensational Futurist Premillennial view (espoused by these men); 2). The Historic Premillennial view (these folks are not Dispensational Futurists, necessarily, but may be Preterists, or Historicists); 3). The Heavenly Premillennial view (this view says that since the Rapture and 2nd Advent are the same event, the Millennial reign of the saints with Christ will NOT take place on the earth, but in Heaven, at the resurrection when Jesus returns to "receive His people unto Himself, and take them to His Father's house" (cf. Jn. 14:1-3; 1 Thes. 4:13-18). The latter view ("Heavenly Premillennialism") is the correct view, in my assessment. However, I will say that I am flabbergasted by the misrepresentations of the Amillennial view by these folks. It's clear they've hardly read anything by any Amillennial writers on the subject. Fact is: the ONLY PLACE in Scripture which mentions a "Millennium" is Rev. 20. Reading the Millennium into Isaiah or Zechariah, or any other prophet, is an example of "reading into these texts one's own presupposed conclusions". Again, these men are reading into the O.T. texts their own idea of the Millennium. Be careful, y'all. Hope this helps. Questions? Let me know. *Soli Deo Gloria*

SYMBOLIC: When something is symbolic in the Bible the next couple of versus EXPLAINS what it is. Such as the SEVEN HEADED BEAST in Revelation. LITERAL: When its literal there is no further EXPLANATION warranted.

“..that He may send Jesus, the Christ appointed for you, whom heaven must receive until the period of restoration of all things about which God spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets from ancient time.” When is the restoration of all things? ..And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” And He said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true.” What takes place before all things are made new? How is Jesus reigning physically on Earth before the “restoration of all things” if heaven must receive him until the restoration of all things? Do you agree that scripture can not be broken? If so, to understand Acts 3:21 literally one must understand Revelation 20:4 as a reality occurring in the heavenly realm prior to the descent of the holy city, New Jerusalem.

So, this panel of experts (a friend and two colleagues of the host - one current and one former) was composed of individuals with the same point of view. In my opinion, it would've been great if it was an actual conversation between individuals of differing views, with equal time, etc. I believe there were so many strawman arguments with no one there to defend other positions. I also sensed a level of arrogance in some of their comments and the calling of those of whom they refer to as amillennials "lazy people that don't want to study." May we always continue to humbly ask the Holy Spirit and the Bible to lead us into all truth.

Your comment prevented me from having to watch this. If it isn't going to be a well-defended approach against the best arguments that amillennialism has to offer (that I've found quite convincing) then I'll look elsewhere. Thanks! - Pastor Brian

To Salvador Posada: What this panel gets wrong is they take everything in the Scriptures literally. Some of God's Word is literal, some is figurative. 1000 years in Revelation means a long period of time -- that is, the 2000+ reign of the church on this earth. Jesus is Lord right now -- at this moment -- in Heaven and earth. When I die, I want to go to Heaven, not to a glorified earth (like the Jehovah's Witnesses long for). In the supposed Millenial Reign from Jerusalem, will Jesus have an email address?

Ken Fredrick A thousand years could mean a long period of time. It also could mean a short period of time. “But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” ‭‭II Peter‬ ‭3:8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The book of Revelation is about what is to come, not what has passed, so the millenium reign will be a literal reign on this earth by Jesus Christ, after the Great Tribulation has finished and Jesus second coming.

Please go reread the first paragraph carefully (Rev. 1:1-3). John told the recipients of his letter that he was writing of things "that must shortly come to pass...for the time is near." John's first readers in the 7 churches would naturally interpret those words literally to mean a few years off in the future at most. No way would they think he was talking about something 2000+ years in the future. In hindsight, we know that John is describing the A.D. 70 destruction of Jerusalem and the temple in the language of Old Testament symbolism or poetry. John repeated those time markers at the end of the book as well, just to make sure we didn't miss the point that the fulfillment of his prophecy was immanent. (Rev. 22:7, 10, 12). Jesus was coming in judgment on the apostate Jews in the near future from the standpoint of his 1st Century readers. It was the fulfillment of their cry at His trial, "His blood be upon us and our children." It was the reason Jesus told the women who were weeping as He carried the cross, "daughters of Jerusalem weep not for me, but for yourselves." He foresaw the Great Tribulation that was soon to come upon Jerusalem. So most of Revelation was in the future for John's first readers, but is now ancient history for us. This was the belief of our Puritan forefathers and theologians like John Owen, Matthew Henry, Jonathan Edwards, John Cotton and many others. I don't expect you to accept this based on two or three paragraphs. You need to read somebody besides Hal Lindsey, Dave Hunt and Tim LaHaye. A good place to start would be "Paradise Restored" by David Chilton, "The Beast of Revelation" by Ken Gentry and "Last Days Madness" by Gary DeMar.

***** Christ tells of a normal tribulation everyone will go through, progressing into the time later described when Satan is released from the abyss as ruler over earth for a short time. Note when Satan is released the Latin "Millennium" ends. This 'prison' is called the 'abyss', understanding Satan is cast once only from heaven, and Isaiah [14:12-15] describes this into the grave (Sheol) and pit (abyss). Satan will be released once only from the abyss described in Rev 20:7-10 7 "When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth-Gog and Magog-to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore. They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of God's people, the city he loves. But fire came down from heaven and devoured them."Rev 20:7-15 describes events that will happen (until) all wicked are judged and cast (destroyed) in the Lake of Fire. Revelation Chapter-21 then tells of the new heaven and earth, also new Jerusalem, and Christ saying "I am making (all) things new'. Note before at Christ's return a second time [Matt 24:31], not to bear sin again, He sends the angels to gather (ALL) saints NOT form earth, but from 'one end of the heavens to the other.'rtpricetag.home.comcast.net/~rtpricetag/First_Resurrection.html

***** This 'Christians Ruling over Lesser People' is false teaching that antichrists (false Christians) began long ago. If you've had any math theorem, re read Revelation 20:1-7 in original Greek, you will find the Greek "Chilioi etee" (Chilioi an alphanumeric value of 10x 3rd power) is a stem-numeric properly translated into English as "Thousands Years (or) Thousands of Years". There are two of these 'Chilioi' events, the first event in past-tense, and the second event in present-tense, and neither event has yet ended. Christians 'reign' meaning serve as did Christ, Christ said He did not come to be served (rule), but to serve. If your interested, read my scripture study at: rtpricetag.home.comcast.net/~rtpricetag/Millennium.html

***** I missed this 'Calvary' mentioned, could you give me verse that it is found? If you mean it tells of Satan carrying out his will, and Christ carrying out His, as Calvary', keep the language simple, the immature are admonished to test ever spirit and word against the word of God for validity. In the mean time, what did you think of my scripture study on the Latin Millennium. rtpricetag.home.comcast.net/~rtpricetag/Millennium.html

I am surprised anyone would use Isaiah 65:17-25 to prove the Premill doctrine. Verse 17 starts with the New Heavens and the New Earth, and verse 25 contains a reversal of the curse. Verse 19 says there will be no weeping, but yet Nathan said verse 20 contains death. Verse 20 begins with a negative statement. None of the things that follow the word "thence" will occur in the New Heavens and the New Earth. Context is the key to understanding verse 20. If I said... "There will be no more, chiggars, ticks, dinosaurs, cancer,..." what would it mean? How many mortals are left alive on the planet at the end of Matthew 25:31-46? The "first resurrection" in Revelation 20 is not the first bodily resurrection in the Book of Revelation, because the two witnesses are bodily resurrected from the dead in chapter 11. Do these men believe the two witnesses in Revelation 11:4 are two men made of wood and metal? Because Christ returns as a thief at Armageddon in Revelation 16:15-16, and He also returns in chapter 19, we know the Book of Revelation is not in chronological order. Why have I never heard a sermon about the time of the judgment of the dead in Revelation 11:15-18? =================================== Second Coming Visions in Revelation: Christ returns at the end of Revelation chapter 6, with signs in the sun, moon, and stars, as are found in the Olivet Discourse. Those at the end of the chapter are hiding from the wrath of the Lamb. Why would they be hiding if Christ is not present? The "kings", "captains", "might men", "free", and "bond" are also found in chapter 19 at the return of Christ. He returns at the 7th trumpet, which is the last trumpet in the Bible, and the time of the judgment of the dead in Revelation 11:15-18. The beginning of chapter 12 is a history lesson containing the fall of Satan, and the birth and death of Christ, who is the seed promised to crush the head of Satan in Genesis 3:15. The Second Coming is found in the "harvest" of chapter 14, which is related to the parable of the wheat and tares in Matthew chapter 13. He comes as a thief at Armageddon, and the greatest earthquake in history is found in chapter 16. This occurs when the 7th angel pours out his vial. He comes on a horse in chapter 19. He comes with the fire, and the judgment of the dead at the end of chapter 20, which agrees with what Paul said in 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10, and 2 Timothy 4:1. (The time of the judgment of the dead is also found in Revelation 11:18.) The only way to properly interpret the book is through the principle of "Recapitulation". ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-puk7HOeSYRI.html

When Christ comes it's the end. He reigns now and saints reign with him in his Kingdom which is within as we live on the earth until he comes. The major lies today are Christ is God, when he is the Son of God and that Christ isn't our reigning king now even though he is reigning on the throne of David at the right hand of God.

I like your comments and what you say makes sense but what I don’t understand is if the bible speaks of this then why are people ignoring or arguing about it? I guess I don’t understand how this would not be taken literally? People are getting so angry and argumentative and more-so than usual, it seems. I wish people could talk to each other with respect. Ears close with anger and accomplishes nothing.

I'm confused by what you all are saying, especially at about 20:55; "if Jesus is reigning over the nations of this world today he's doing a very poor job". I'm not an amillennialist, but I do have many problems with premillennialism, especially this kind of talk. What you say is very confusing to people. So what exactly is Jesus doing right now? Is He not ruling and reigning from heaven at this very moment? Is He not sitting on David's throne right now (Acts 2:30). If not, then what?
@lancashirelassnowupnorth191
@lancashirelassnowupnorth191 5 лет назад
reb1 I may be wrong but I thought in order for Jesus to reign on the throne of David, this has to be an earthly reign just like it was for King David. You can believe in the millennium without believing in a pre-millennium rapture. E.g. Jacob Prasch teaches the fact of the millennium but he believes in a pre-wrath rapture. I definitely believe the millennium but not certain when the rapture occurs.. pre. Mid or pre-wrath. But not post millennium rapture, that doesn’t make sense to me.

The following should help you. Revelation 20: Does your interpretation agree with all other scripture? (Chronological or Recapitulation?) (Literal vs. Figurative?) Based on the following scripture, will immortals and mortals both live on earth for 1,000 years after the Second Coming of Christ? Will there be renewed animal sacrifices in earthly Jerusalem for 1,000 years after the Second Coming of Christ? Will Christ conduct funeral services for mortals killed in accidents many years after His Second Coming? Graveyards needed? Can the following questions be examined without ridicule, and condemnation, based on the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34, and found fulfilled in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and Hebrews 12:18-24? Can the number 1,000 be used in a symbolic manner? Psalm 50:10 Does an angel with a key come from heaven and open the bottomless pit in Revelation 9:1-2? Why did the angel have to unlock the pit if it was not locked previously? Who is the king of the angels in the bottomless pit found in Revelation 9:11? Are some of the angels “bound” in some manner in Revelation 9:14? If the beast comes up out of the pit in Revelation 11:7, where is the beast before then? John sees “souls” at the beginning of Revelation chapter 20. Are these the same “souls” found in Revelation 6:9-11? Is the “first resurrection” in Revelation 20:5 the first bodily resurrection in the Book of Revelation? (Rev. 11:11) Are there two different types of resurrections in John chapter 5? John 5:24 (Spiritual) ? Were you dead, and now you are alive? John 5:27-30 Christ describes the bodily resurrection and “hour” of judgment of “all” the dead. Who is the “strong man” who is bound in Matthew 12:26-29? How is Satan “bound” in Revelation 20:3? How many mortals are left alive on the planet at the end of Matthew 25:31-46? Isaiah 65:17-25? Are people really dying in verse 20? Context, Context, Context… The New Heavens and New Earth are found at the beginning of the passage, and the end of the curse is found at the end of the passage. What happens if verse 20 begins with a negative statement? "There will be no more..." Was Paul expecting Christ to return "in flaming fire", taking vengeance on those who do not know God in 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10? How would mortals survive this fire? Does the fire come at the end of Revelation 20? Did Paul expect both the living and the dead to be judged at the appearing of Christ, in 2 Timothy 4:1? When is the judgment of the dead in Revelation 20? Is it the same judgment of the dead in Revelation 11:18? What is the restitution of all things at the return of Christ in Acts 3:20-21? Will Christ's sacrifice at Calvary also reverse the curse, at His return? Does death die at the last trumpet in 1 Corinthians 15:50-55? Why did Jesus correct the woman at the well when she said earthly Jerusalem was the place to worship? See John 4:20-24. Why did Paul say the Jerusalem above is our “mother” in Galatians 4:24-31? What is the inheritance of the Old Testament Saints in Hebrews 11:15-16? Is the third temple found in 1 Peter 2:4-10? Is this temple just as real as a temple made of earthly stones? What was Peter expecting on the day of the Lord when He comes as a thief in 2 Peter 3:10-13? Do we find the judgment of both the living and the dead at the 7th trumpet, which is the last trumpet in the Bible, in Revelation 11:15-18? Why do most preachers ignore the time of the judgment of the dead, with reward for some, and destruction for others in Revelation 11:18? What does it prove about the chronology of the Book of Revelation? ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Is there a correlation between Revelation 20 and earlier passages in the Book of Revelation? Is Revelation chapter 20 another example of “Recapitulation”? Rev 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, Rev 20:8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. Rev 18:23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived. Rev 20:9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. Rev_18:8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her. Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. Judgment Before the Great White Throne. Rev_19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. Rev 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. Rev 11:18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth. The Greek for thousand years chilioi is plural and I believe is something akin to a dozen, where there is more than one but a singular set. In any case if you read rev20 you see in the first four or so verses all of the elements in the thousand years. The psalmist writes that the Lord owns the cattle on a thousand hills... Does not also own them on the thousand and first one as well? Additionally in revelation it is written and then there is time no more, how can there be no time if there is yet a thousand years?

Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

DEWAYNE>>>>Millennium is translated as "1000 years">>>Isnt it interesting to note that in Rev20 "thousand years" is mentioned 6 times! This is a literal time on earth where these "saved mortals" will live on the refurbished earth under the reign and rule Of Christ, himself....Revelation 20 goes on to say the saints (who return with Christ) will be KINGS AND PRIESTS and will rule with Him on the earth! If this were NOT a literal earth then why GO TO THE BOTHER OF locking up SATAN as to not deceive the nations. Isaiah, Ezekiel and Micah are just some of the books that describe the living conditions of the earth during this time......ALL of the descriptions are sur-real in detail>>>surely they can not be of a "spiritual nature">>That would be a vast waste of time and effort on the authors part! The very purpose of Christ return to this earth is to judge the nations AND THEN set up His kingdom......."thy kingdom COME, thy will be done"

+Bruce Peters >Can you explain why its mentioned 6 times!? Perhaps to drive home a point>>that doesn't make it false now does it........millennium means 1000 years and its the millennium that's the subject of the text.....why do people like yourself deny that it can be a literal 1000 year reign (on earth) when scripture like Isaiah and Ezekiel is full of acr\tual details about?? Can you be that blind as to not see it going on literally as Christ rules out of Zion (Jerusalem)..READ IT!!!!!!!

(Yes, we KNOW Christ will reign forever, but this is a 1000 year chunck of forever....GET IT?????????????????

Al Gist at 10:42 says "in Daniel 2 the Bible tells us the Lord is going to come back and destroy the empires and kingdoms of men and He will establish His kingdom that will last forever." No, Daniel 2 does not say the Lord is going to come "BACK" - it says He will destroy all of the kingdoms and establish His kingdom that will last forever. Not 1000 years. Not after a "second coming." Jesus already did this work, He already IS the king, He already set up His kingdom and He is currently putting down all other kingdoms.

***** Thank you for your reply. I will address a couple of things here but first...do you believe Jesus Christ is reigning today from the right hand of God the Father? Is Jesus the King of kings and Lord of lords right now? Does Jesus reign over heaven and earth right now?
@pbksocial

***** 1 Cor 15:24-26 1Co 15:25 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 1Co 15:25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. 1Co 15:26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.... So according to this passage, Jesus is reigning now, until He has put all enemies under His feet. This is a slow (by human standards) process. Not immediate. The last enemy is death. At that time He will then hand the kingdom over to His father, and as you say He will physically be king on earth. But this all happens after death has been destroyed. When is death destroyed? According to later in the chapter, it is destroyed when the resurrection occurs, which is at the very end: 1Co 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 1Co 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 1Co 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 1Co 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, *Death is swallowed up in victory.*

The bible does not say Jesus Christ will set up a kingdom on earth in revelation 20 it's all in heaven, its souls with him. The only lazy View it's the one they're teaching right now and give you know scriptures. Jesus said my kingdom is not of this world. He also said the kingdom of God comes not with observation. He also said there's some of you standing here that will not taste death till you see the son of man coming in his kingdom the Kingdom of Heaven is the church and everytime you find the church and Daniel or anywhere else it is an everlasting Kingdom no thousand years Luke says that Jesus would receive the Throne of David and that his kingdom would be an everlasting Kingdom you never find a thousand years except in Revelations 20 and he's not talking about any Kingdom

The persecution of the Church by the global government, and then the Second Coming of Christ. ================================================ Second Coming Visions in Revelation: Christ returns at the end of Revelation chapter 6, with signs in the sun, moon, and stars, as are found in the Olivet Discourse.

KINGDOM DELAYED IS KINGDOM DENIED. This is a serious problem because both of these men deny the current reign of Christ over the kingdoms of this world. Neither of them take the Bible at face value. The introductory verses of Revelation state clearly that Jesus Christ IS "the ruler of the kings of the earth...and He has made us to be a kingdom, priests to His God and Father...." (Rev. 1: 5,6). That kingdom was present tense in the 1st Century, extending to the present day. These men say to Jesus, "Is this the best you can do?" I think Jesus is saying to these men, "Is this the best YOU can do? Two thousand years ago I gave you a Great Commission to disciple the nations (ethnos = cultures) and look at the mess you've created. You refuse to take my Kingship seriously and push my kingdom off into the indefinite future." These men refuse to accept the words of Christ that His kingdom is like a mustard seed, that would start small, but grow to become the greatest of trees. We know from Heb 1:1 and Acts 2:17 that we are now in "the last days" before the 2nd Coming. Isaiah said that in "THE LAST DAYS" the nations will come up to the mountain of the house of the Lord and will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks" (Is 2:1-4). This is the great post-millennial hope, based on the clear promises of the Word of God. But these men scoff at God's promise. John told us in the first verse that he was communicating by signs. Even a high school English student knows that you can't interpret poetry literally. The symbolic nature of Revelation 20 cannot be made to contradict the plain, normal, literal sense of Rev. 1:5,6. Interpreting poetry according to the Biblical system of symbolism has nothing to do with "spiritualizing" or" Allegorizing" the Revelation. As a matter of fact the Jesus did clearly tell the leaders of the Jewish nation, "The kingdom of God is taken away from you and given to a nation bearing the fruit thereof" (Mt 21: 43). That makes Jesus Christ the author of "Replacement Theology." The destruction of Jerusalem and the temple in 70 A.D. was God's divorce of the nation of Israel. From that point on Jews are on the same footing as Gentiles, all needing to come to Christ and be grafted into His church by faith -- and there will be a great ingathering of the Jews (Romans 11). As a matter of fact if you know anything about the history of the modern nation of Israel it was created as an illuminati plot. The Jewish Banksters promised in the Balfour Agreement to provide Great Britain the means to win the war if they would set up the nation of Israel after the war. Their goal was to fulfill Freemason Albert Pike's prediction of a Third World War between Jew and Muslim in the Middle East, which would result in the final establishment of the NWO. These "prophecy experts" boast about their great prowess as Bible students, but it's clear they don't know the first thing about Post-millennialism. They need to go back to the drawing board and take a serious look at books like "Last Days Madness" by Gary DeMar, "The Beast of Revelation" by Ken Gentry and "Paradise Restored" by David Chilton.

AntiFederalist Christ's reign is above every king and name that can be given, and about His Kingdom Christ said, Luke 17:20-21 Jesus replied, "The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, nor will people say, 'Here it is,' or 'There it is,' because the kingdom of God is within you."

LOL. OK. But don't act like this is the only viable view. First, taking a literal view of the phrase 1000 years is not a notion taught in the Bible. It is an opinion by some pastors. The opposing view that it is not to be taken literally has stronger support both from tradition and the Bible. First, John wrote to the 7 churches saying that the events he outlines were to take place soon...they were near...these events were designed to give the 7 churches relief in the midst of tribulation. If it hasn't happened Jesus lied to the 7 churches! Second, the rabbi's understood the phrase 1000 years as a symbolic term and represented a short transition period 30-70 CE. Rabbis believed that the period of Messiah was to be only a transitionary stage between “this age/world and the age/world to come.” These Rabbis (such as R. Adiba), understood this transition period to be forty years, based upon how long the Israelites were in the wilderness before inheriting the land (Beale, ibid., 1018-1019; see also, A. Cohen, Everyman’s TALMUD, 356). Therefore, the reader should be able to discern that the Full Preterist AD 30 - AD 70 “this generation” millennial view is: 1). consistent with the teaching of Revelation itself, 2) falls within the “orthodox” views of the Reformed church, 3) is in line with the analogy of Scripture and 4) offers historical support from many Rabbis whom promoted a forty years transitional period between the two ages. Our view on the millennium is both exegetically sound and orthodox. Finding support for the Full Preterist view of the millennium is not as difficult as many portray it - selah.

So God only owns the cattle on a thousand hills. The ones on all the others belong to who? Buddha? (Psalm 50) Jesus will reign, I say he is reigning right now. He was crowned (thorns) He was robed in scarlet He was declared king by Pilate... Now look back at rev 20, the first resurrection, you do realize that this is a spiritual resurrection don't you? Compare to eph2 the dictionary definition of resurrection is used here. A thousand years is simply a complete appointed time for every believer, until the time is fulfilled.... The catalyst for the glue eat tribulation is Satan unleashed. He is currently bound, we see that in several places, one of which Jesus speaking about casting out demons says" how can you break up a strongman's house lest you first bind the strongman". That strongman is Satan.. Every point in rev 20 is covered by Jesus in the new testament. As for the rapture. Try reading 1thess4:14-17 again Just where is this air that we are forever with Jesus in? Go back to the Greek and see for yourself. Still don't believe, just when do the meek inherit the earth? , when does the lion lie down with the sheep? Oh there is so much more...

We are living in the period of Revelation 20... You would not notice it just like the pharisees who did not noticed the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh even when they claimed to know the scriptures from cover to cover and preaching it to people at the synagogue from day to day. God shut their eyes because of their unbelief of Jesus Christ and that is the deception then. Now, when the gospel is preached and made known to the elects of God, salvation comes to men, to both the physical jews (remnant of Israel) and gentiles alike that will believe in Jesus Christ. The devil at this point of time cannot persuade the elect to unbelief since the power of God to salvation came through the world by preaching the gospel. If men believe the gospel whether they are physical jews or gentiles, God will save them and the power of deception cannot avail. At the end of the complete period of Christ millennal kingdom ( where Jesus reigns in heaven and earth in the lives of the believers) the devil is given a short time to deceive the nations and with this apostasy comes. Apostate church will arise wherein they were once part of the true church but departed. How this may happen? By giving up in the fundamental truth that salvation comes only by Jesus Christ through believing the gospel. They will depart from this truth and preach another gospel.. Most christian zionist are into this now, mixing their faith with zionism until such time that they will deny that Jesus is the only way to salvation. Apostate preach that jews of the nation of physical Israel does not have to know and accept Jesus Christ to be saved bec they say God had a special covemant for them. This is blasbhemy and direct contrary to scriptures that teaches there is no name under heaven for which men must be saved but by the name Of Jesus Christ. This apostate churches ridicules the power Of Christ and change the gospel into mystic teaching of the jews found in talmud and judaism belief. Sadly, a lot of churches who were once part of the body of Christ went out to preach another gospel and without them knowing, the devil got a hold of them by his deception and them being under strong delusion. This is a warning to all.. Christ is coming at the end of this millennial kingdom to judge the whole world of its sin and to finally establish His eternal kingdom, the everlasting kingdom that never ends.

that was the decent video I'm glad you didn't bring up Tim lahaye's rapture fictional Left Behind series. it's really not that hard when you have the comforter helping you and leading you into all truth. the Messiah said when I return will I find faith in the Earth. on elul first the month of repentance in to return to the Lord . the Great American solar eclipse on August 21st and then there will be 30 days until the Feast of trumpets and the completion of six thousand years. as Lightning comes from the East so shall the coming of the son of man be it will be a cloud of thunder and lightning like never before will there be people out there reaching for that cloud on that day or will they be hiding from the Great Sound of the father's shofar. changed in the twinkling of an eye we go into the cloud in the presence of the Lord and are all escorted to the marriage Feast of the Lamb in the valley of megiddo. I hear they have award-winning wine now in Israel . 10 days later will be the Triumph return the Messiah steps down on the Mount of Olives comes through the Eastern Gate and the coronation ceremony begins and our high priest fulfills the day of atonement ...5 days later we celebrate yeshua's birthday on the Feast of Tabernacles and 8 Days Later we begin the millennial reign with our Lord with a rod of iron to rule over the Nations that will be a great time of teaching but Grace will be no more if they don't shape Up we're shipping them out. I for one don't want to go through eternity with someone who has not been tested. Shalom My Friends shalom

1000 yrs kingdom of Jesus is not litteral it is spiritual. It is started since Jesus crucified and resurrected. Satan is bound because people are released from his grip. Without binding him no one can believe Jesus is the Lord and Savior. Jesus is ruling now on earth through his true and faithful church. If He comes on this earth as most people think then there won't be any person who can deny Jesus. Bible says when he comes again before the very eyes of the people he will come in the glory of Father.
