This question is for the ministry: The author of the New Testament Scripture, when relating the event of the Transfiguration: how did he and the other two disciples KNOW that the two men who appeared speaking with Jesus, were Moses and Elisha? Surely the disciples could not have known what these two servants of God looked like to identify them, having lived and died centuries before they themselves were even born. Please explain. If a person go to get married and the MINISTER ask him and her do they take each other in marriage? If the parties do not CONFESS yes, then there is no marriage the persons getting married MUST CONFESS WITH THEIR MOUTH. If they can not speak this is different. THE GREAT CONFESSION ROMANS 10: 9-11. The false prophets call for people to come up to get SAVED without THE GREAT CONFESSION and they pray over them and send them back to their seats or take them in the back to allow the to be told that they are SAVED, they are NOT if the had NOT CONFESSED WITH THERE MOUTH THE LORD JESUS AND BELIEVED IN their heart THAT GOD HATH RAISED HIM FROM THE THE DEAD IN ORDER TO BE SAVED. Enjoyed this presentation But one point needs addressing made by David's colleague @ 24:45 where he states about how to be saved; Repent of sins IS Not in the Bible nor is it required to be Saved. Salvation comes when One Believes Jesus paid your sin debt on the Cross and rose from the dead according to the scriptures..Period. Trusting in Jesus period, no works involved at all. Repentance means 'Change of mind' ( to God from idols ) and Believing in HIS work at the cross is salvation...no such term as repent of sin. But enjoyed the program overall
You are correct in that there's nothing that we can do on our own accord for salvation. It's all up to God, His mercy, His grace. However, the Bible does dictate the steps necessary to approach Him. Acts 2:38 says that both repentance and baptism are both necessary. Mark 16:16 says that both belief and baptism are necessary. 1 Peter 3:21 says that baptism saves us. There are other passages that outline this (Romans 10:10, Acts 8:38, etc.), but there are steps that need to be taken. One can't simply "trust in Jesus" and expect salvation. I'm also remembering Luke 6:46. You have to do what He says. Repentance is a change of heart and is very necessary. Why offer salvation to someone who just wants to go back to sinning? Remember the passages about a dog returning to its own vomit......a pig going back to getting muddy? I didn't listen to what David or his colleague said about the steps of salvation, but I know what the Bible clearly points out.

Yes, we are saved by Grace through Faith in Jesus Christ. And though repentance does not lead to salvation, salvation leads to repentance. Jesus says "I'm am the vine and ye are the branches..." He also says you know a tree by its fruit... This is not to say we are saved by works. This means if we truly accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we will become new creations in Christ. That is, we will be transformed more and more into His image. And it follows that our lives will give witness to our relationship with our Lord. When we accept Christ Jesus into our hearts, we will be changed. Our fruit will show what vine we are connected to. May God bless you.
Yes at Caesarea Philippi -- the fallen angels fell to Mount Hermon and possible are chained there -- When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” 15“But what about you?” Jesus asked. “Who do you say I am?” 16Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” According to the apocryphal book of Enoch which is quoted by Jude (Jude 1:6) and referenced by Peter (2 Peter 2:4), Mount Hermon in Bashan is where the fallen angels first descended to earth before they forcibly “married” human women and produced the hybrid Nephilim giants (Genesis 6:1-4). Interestingly, Mount Hermon is in the Golan Heights, and this area remains one of the most problematic pieces of real estate in the world today. Mount Hermon’s name is derived from the Hebrew word “herem,” which means “a thing devoted to God for destruction.” It’s likely where the fallen angels started their campaign to destroy the human genome, and “herem” recalls God’s genocidal commands to Moses, Saul, and Joshua. Just a comment on the Intro: "Christ in prophecy: The fundamentals of Bible prophecy: showing how current events in the news relate to biblical predictions of end-time events" ... This Biblical Hermeneutic implies that the Biblical prophecies we are seeing "fulfilled" today were completely meaningless to every generation before us. OR this hermeneutic is implying that the prophecies have meant different things at different times... This makes the message of the Bible subjective not Objective - this invalidates its entire message. This hermeneutic also means that the biblical Authors purposely wrote a message which would not be understood by their intended recipients.. this seems a bizarre. To clarify: i am not denying 'progressive revelation'. I do recognize that many OT passages have been given a fuller meaning by Jesus' death and Resurrection. But even in these places, it is a "fuller" meaning which is given; It is not a shift from "no meaning" to "meaning". Other than this, i found the interpretation of the Transfiguration helpful. Although the emphasis on the Location surprises me. None of the 4 accounts record the location. This seems to suggest that the location is not important in understanding the message of event. Furthermore, although seeing the geographic locations is enjoyable and hearing about other references to those locations in the OT is interesting, it ultimately didn't have any impact on the message of Matthew 17:1-13.. so again it seems odd to focus so much time on something which is irrelevant to the passage. Lastly, what is the basis for dividing Matthew 17:1-8 from 17:9-13? This divide was not argued for but merely assumed. The division of the passage would impact the meaning, so this seems a bit more important than the location. Its super encouraging to find Christian content on RU-vid. I know i asked many questions, but I was also grealy encouraged by your content. Keep going for it and God bless.

When the transfiguration happened, He appeared in His glory (the glory of God). Since Jesus spoke to the dead before on several occasions, and when they heard his voice, they came back to life, this apparently applies also to the prophets of God. When they heard His voice, they came back to life and stood on both sides and were able to speak with Him. This also will happen to all the dead in Christ when Jesus returns and they hear His voice.
Jesus has always called "death" "sleep". The prophets and the dead in Christ are asleep and remain until Jesus returns and wakes them up. He is free to wake them up whenever He desires to do so, since He is God.

Jesus spoke to the dead when He raised them up from the dead and brought them back to life. This is not practicing necromancy, this is doing miracles by the Lord Himself to show His power and glory.
The Transfiguration took place on Mt. Carmel. Jesus took them to visit the Essenes, who were well known for wearing white and becoming radiant after meditation and capable of speaking to angels while in this state. It's in the dead Sea Scrolls. Your welcome. 😊
