If they did it would sell like crazy. Those New Ionic 5’s are selling pretty crazy I see them all over. Half of it I assume is because of the looks. Everyone I’ve spoke to says they “look like a Delorean”
They could mount two V6's from the Hyundai Palisade to make a V12 engine,, and mind you, the Palisade's V6 engine has a race car-like compression ratio.
I like the idea of there being a production version of this car with an ICE, but probably if Hyundai mass-produces it, it will be electric, since it has the same design philosophy as the IONIQ models. And, there are also several rumors that it could go into limited production with the hydrogen system it has at the moment and more power, although the Hyundai N executive has denied this.
The vehicle is also a halo car to demonstrate the technological superiority of Hyundai Motor Group, including the latest electrification technology and hydrogen cell technology. Therefore, internal combustion engine vehicles are unfortunate but cannot be released.
