If the exhaust is under water, the pops are muffled and there's no flame. That's a detail I wouldn't expect from PG to be honest.

I feel like the devs went a little overboard on the anti lag… it’s just too much when it pops the whole time you’re off the throttle

Fun little observation. In launch control, the preset RPM's will change if you change the length of your first gear. The shorter the gear the higher the RPM

A setting to adjust the pops and bangs would be nice

I am sad that they left out the Warthog in the tire profile upgrade. I really thought that could use some more upgrades to fight it's weight problem.

I notice when activating launch control and pressing the brake ever so slightly, you can build more bost and have a crazier launch control

If you played on manual with clutch you could do an "anti lag" launch since the game came out in any car and can stop it at whatever rpm below like 5k, the highest it will go is different on every car but yeah.

I think boost pressure is controlled by gear ratios or parts I’m not sure yet

They also made a function like anti-lag the longer you hold it the more boost it’s gonna make I just wish they had something where we can adjust the anti lag boost

I personally wish that they could let you choose what turbo you use anti lag on it shouldn't have to always be the Race turbo and I would also enjoy if you could choose how many pops you want.

Holding the brake and throttle build more boost on launch than holding the handbrake and throttle

In my experience, launch control doesn’t build enough boost (I’ve had cars not even build positive boost at all) and anti lag seems to do almost nothing, like I’ll let off the throttle and boost just drops almost instantly (don’t expect it to stay at full boost but expect it to maintain positive pressure for a short duration like an actually rally car with ALS)

How do you tune for the actual launch? the dampening and suspension for AWD vs RWD?

Great! But honestly the flames look aweful... they should add more different animation let's say if there are 4 exhaust tips so the animation should be different for all 4 of them and there should be lighting effect around the flames that they reflect some light around them and that would be so cool!

Not all cars have launch control feature if the real life car has a turbo from stock then it will have launch control in game no turbo no launch control

Are there an drawbacks or hinderances with the anti-lag turbo vs non anti-lag besides the machine-gun firing? Is it really a straight upgrade, making non anti-lag completely pointless?

Ok so I’ve been playing the update for about 10 hours now and have been messing around with LC vs no LC and different levels of boost for launch and my conclusion is that it all completely depends on the car Some cars launch great with the new LC feature, some don’t need it at all like the x5 can get launched with no LC at full boost cause I think it’s so heavy it actually benefits from the crazy high rpm launch, and some cars like the copo can’t launch at full rpm cause your front will pick up ever so slightly and you lose speed, instead the copo needs to do an LC start but with a slightly increased boost by pressing brake ever so slightly before takeoff around 10-12 boost lv is optimal

I’ve literally always done the hand brake and gas never just brakes and gas😂

Does anyone have any tips. I’m on pc playing the game through gamepass and it shows that the anti lag was added but not options on the turbos or flames show up. Running on all ultra settings fine so idk why I can’t get antioag

The antilag should be a separate customization option, the race turbo is just ruining some cars, especially rally cars which should be at a certain horsepower level, but when you install the antilag to have proper rally vibes, it just adds like 200hp to a Group A rally car, and it becomes annoyingly fast

Not every turbo car can have turbo lag, the V8 diesel engine upgrade can't have it
