Man, I've been playing Forza 6 like crazy on my Xbox One S for the past 2 years @1080, but when I bought my series X a coyote days ago I bought Forza 7 with it and the difference is night and day. Going from playing on a 720p TV to 4k was a serious game changer.
Man! I had a lot of problems with the online gaming on One S. Now, in the Series X it's a whole new era. Feels like kinda like a new game. In 2022 I returned to play and I'm having a blast. Nice vídeo!
I only started playing FM7 in 2022, and not only that, at some point Windows stopped booting so I have not been able to play FM7. I first got the game on my PC 😏 and then I played it. I can't wait to order the game online for my Series X so I can play it on good quality instead of making everything blurry and grainy just for it to run on a slow PC.
I'm currently working my way through Forza Motorsport 4 right now, so it's interesting seeing what I could be in for when I work my way up to that game (at least, that's the plan anyway). One thing I'm finding interesting in the series so far is the small changes between games. Some ideas are better than others. Still, after getting largely burned out on Gran Turismo games, I was pleasantly surprised by how well Forza played for me so far. Definitely having fun with this series and I'm looking forward to checking out other titles in the franchise.
That's awesome man that you're working your way through all the games. I totally get what you mean about the small changes between games, especially the physics. They always seem to be tweaking those.
@@OldTires Totally. One of the changes I found was how the games handle single player season play. Like, in Forza Motorsport 3, they used a calendar and got you to play multiple events before advancing in the season. In Forza Motorsport 4, they ditched the calendar and decided to use a map of the earth to progress through the season. Instead of a series of events, it was all just single events within a series that you got to take on. You could, alternatively just go into event mode and systematically complete each of them for experience points and "affinity points" (something new in Forza Motorsport 4). I'm guessing Forza Motorsport has nothing like any of the above and plays differently given how much small stuff like that has changed between 2, 3, and 4.
@@YourEraGamer You're right! The seasons are divided into "cups" now haha. Lots of similar challenges with some new showcases. It's nice that they're trying to switch it up I think... keeps things fresh.
@@OldTires Interesting. Well, whenever I get to Motorsport 5 and 6. I guess I'll find out how else things got tweaked or if there is a similar formula somewhere along the line. It's going to take a bit to get to these, though, as I have lot of other games to check out as well, but I'm still aiming to get to those games eventually.
I still love this game, although I didn't experience some of the issues mentioned because I didn't jump in until 2019. What keeps me engaged are the awesome visuals and the overall feel of the game. I'm excited for FM8 and hopefully they bring some of the needed improvements. Cheers 🍻🍻
To say there's no upgrade on Series X isn't really true, as on Series X it's the upgraded Xbox One X version, not the base Xbox One version . The game runs at a locked 4k 60 with no drops, as demonstrated by Digital Foundry who did a deep dive on that version. It also has auto HDR support.
I think you can still buy redeemable codes. Because I had a code in my Forza motorsport 6 which is the 10 year anniversary card pack and I thought that didn’t work but long and behold when I put it in it still worked. So if that can still work, I bet you can still get redeemable code for Forza seven and it will work. And obviously if you have a disk drive you can still get a physical copy.
Just wanted to say thank you .for all the new information for me as a player coming back to the game. It’s nice to see all of the old names still here,
Multiplayer drops one or two of the four guys I race with every weekend. It is pathetic. We get a few 5 lap races and then someone disappears. We all have excellent internet connections and the group party chat will often keep going but the player gets dropped out of the game. I just hope they get the multiplayer working better on the next release in October.
I got both Forza motorsport seven and motorsport six for Easter. And Let me just say it’s embarrassing to say that those two games are far better than the latest entry in the Forza motorsport series. Best part? Online is still active for Forza motorsport 7
I had no issues loading into FM7 on my One S vs my Series X. I would like to mention on both consoles even in 2023, I never had the black screen issue when starting a race (4:50) and the game does play better now that it’s not upscaled 4K and 60 fps and now is One X enhanced now that it’s a “One X”
Hello @Old Tires, The New Oval Track in FH5 was the first time I raced Nascar style, and I loved it, and after watching this video, I know what my next download is going to be... 👍✌️
I have Forza Motorsports 6 and 7. Would have to say I like 7 better. Gran Turismo 7 still wins in my book though with game play. Forza 7 looks good though. I play on Xbox One X
I never had any issues whatsoever with my xbox one S or xbox one X console with this game. No long load times never an issue with joining an online race. Years back and recently. If you have an xbox one X and not the new series X, then you have the best possible visuals because the series X is not optimized and the regular xbox one X outputs at native 4k 60fps. No slow downs or anything.
I have one problem on series S: going into vinyl editor crashes the game. Nowadays I play FM5, and I think I'm not the only one, since I get drivatar rewards. On a side note: FM5 has more campaign events than FM7.
I wish forza concentrated to turn the motorsport series into a sim with proper rules, physics and weather dynamic, they have the amazing graphics and car collections so why not
too bad after waiting for almost a decade it will not be released on Xbox One 🙄☹️ no Forza 8 videos for me at least 😢 and yeah dynamic weather is always more fun to have, but yeah online it doesn't work in that way
I didn't know it's not being released on Xbox One! That's a major bummer man. On the bright side, there is plenty of stuff to do in FM7 to keep you busy for a while... hopefully :).
@@OldTires Yeah was already mentioned or last year or earlier this year. Hopefully with another release delay, Turn10 Studios will change it, but don't think so. Those time challenges will be moving from 7 to 8, the only thing i can do, come up with own challenges and join open lobbies. lucky i have more racing games and others I can play
I'll soon be on playing this game through for the third time on career mode patiently waiting for forza 8. Lord please let the new forza release soon🙏 I would play multiplayer more often but yeah..rammers..so career mode it is lol still an awesome game tho. Lots of fun especially w a wheel
I can’t remember the last time I played FM7. I would definitely play it again if my bloody steering wheel is compatible with The X. Having said that I can just install it on my PC. Never mind, forget what I just said. I’m going back on the beer.
haha ya I got lucky, my wheel is compatible with xbox one and the series s. Although I'm using controller most of the time now. It's just so much more competitive online.
@@Evildoff and once you've used a fanatec you don't really want to use anything else, if I've got mates round I'll break out the old Logitech for them and it just feels nasty after my csl
The loading time is also longer because of the intro's of the studios (Turn 10 & Microsoft Studios). In Forza Horizon 5 they removed these intro's on Xbox Series consoles so loading time would be shorter, but with Forza Motorsport 7 not being optimized for the new consoles, the loading times are longer.
I bought an Xbox in 2017 to try FM7 cos I grew tired of Gran Turismo. Gameplay was definitely more exciting, but that multiplayer was ass and i haven't been able to connect to lobbies in almost 3 years. Engine sounds were way better than GT but graphically it didnt look as good.
On my day 1 Xbone it was super slow but on my pc its super fast and fun! Either way it was a good time but its much better on pc imo. Old drift lobby vet low NB now low ms3 (6900xt/5800x3d)
you are trying to compaire apples to pears. One S + One X have HDD. Series X has a NVME kinda SSD. that should explain loading times. My One X has a SSD. Loading times are much better than before.
Its great on next gen, but the core gameplay issues remain unresolved. A class lobbies get stuck in Virginia, Top Gear, Miami, and Sebring far too often. The 'qualifying' is still stupid. Public lobbies are still chaos. Forza Motorsport 7 is an amazing game drowned in incompetence, both by Turn 10 and half the people who still play it. Private lobbies are the way to have any consistant fun. The fictional tracks though, are my favorite of any game.
You know what gets me is that they abandoned project gotham racing for this bugfest of a game. They could have easily developed project gotham racing on the XBox One but they chose to keep milking the forza motorsport ip.
Hey, any tips for doing chapters, they don’t show up in my videos for some reason, I thought maybe because I don’t have more than 1k followers but it seems to work for you, I don’t know why they don’t show on my videos, also great video btw, +1 sub for you.
Thanks, EarthyRanger! For the chapters, I put them at the bottom of the description, and I follow the timestamps with the chapter name without anything in-between. If it helps, try copying and pasting the chapters from this video into your description and editing from there. Hope this helps!
u just doesnt know players only race on "Open Track" mode.... its like nurburgrin IRL... Always 10 sec to find a server , no matter when... so am not agree with u.
@@OldTires I did, idk how but I missed that it was being pulled and didn’t buy it before hand. Really putting me through the wringer trying to get a code for it too for some reason
Never had any of those problems when i got the game day one. Only thing that peed me of was the fact that the money part of the games was pointless after they made the cars cheaper because lots of spoilt brats didn't want to have to earn things. Ruined the game for me
Totally get that. It's interesting how the physics have fluctuated from game to game. FM5 physics seemed to be love/hate for players, but I'm with you. I liked it a lot.
Being a wheel user on pc, I’m mostly satisfied. My biggest complaint with any forza game is always going to be the community. But everything else is shockingly solid. Now they just need to make it so power builds aren’t the only viable choice on every single track.
Oh, yes, how could I forget! What a wonderful time that was to be a Forza player haha. Luckily that hasn't been a thing for a while. We'll see what Turn 10 has in-store for loot boxes in the new game...
@@hunteriggy2762 I've actually never played GT7. From the videos I've watched it seems pretty cool. I like the focus on race strategy, tire wear, fuel consumption etc. Hoping the new FM incorporates that stuff!
Did you just assume I preordered FM7? (/s) Sorry to sound like a bitchy fan boy but... FM7 has been the only Forza I haven't preordered since it didn't seem to offer anything new over FM6. I got FM7 in it's final sale since I saw the single player was too limited, but I still go back to FM6 to this day. If only FM6 and Horizon 2 was X enhanced... The 2 most underrated Forza titles.
I have some anoing problems with forza motorsport 7 one of them is when you using a wheel and you whant to shos a car some times when ypu scroll down it wont do it
