also just saw the part where you said there's no way of knowing it its clipping. While in race hit down on the dpad and then left or right will cycle through telemetry data. One of them is a ffb meter. Top bar shows clipping if the line goes outside the top or bottom value.
Just got the csl dd 8nm for xbox with load cel brake. I upgraded from g920 and your movie realy helped me understanding the settings of de fanatec control panel. Verry good starting point
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thought most of the recommended settings out there are wack lol. All of them seem to be way too heavy and unrealistic. I've dialed in mine to a lighter feeling setting that I'm decently happy about but I'll check yours out as well.
It’s funny because I was tweaking for hours trying to get it right. Then I reset all my tweaks and just turned on invert force feedback and everything magically worked perfectly
Am i the only person who can't get enough damping? I run it max so it feels like a real life steering wheel(sporty car at least) it feels like an e36 and my current mazda3. Anything less feels like driving a corolla or versa.
Ty, I'll😊 be using your settings in conjunction with the SC2 sport wheel base settings i found for forza. I have the SC2 Pro, and it's pretty crazy when the settings are too high and it damn near rips my hands off my arms.
I only know, that in a normal road car, in a race car, in a formula1 car, if you stay and turn the wheel, the wheel won’t turn back automatically. If the car is in motion yes, but if you stay, definitely not.
My mclaren wheel the last three settings won’t show up anymore on my Xbox but they’re there on when it’s plugged into my ps5 damper spring and force settings that go up to 120
Thank you! I'm hoping it's at least a good starting place for people. I'm still making some adjustments as well, such as lowering the Vibration Scale a bit.
