Fossils Hiding in Plain Site 

I took the dogs out to a local boat launch on Williston Lake and while they were playing, I started looking through a pile of rocks that were on the side of the parking lot. Inside the pile of rocks, I found a bunch of plant and shell fossils. Its an amazing thing to think about that millions of years have gone by since these plants and animals were once alive on the surface and somehow they ended up in a pile of rocks and dirt meant to be spread out in the parking lot.
