Im just a average guy that lives his life to the fullest in the outdoors and I want to be able to share some of what I do with everyone. Hunting, Fishing, Exploring and Cooking is what I live for. I hope you enjoy the videos and it inspires you to get out and enjoy the great outdoors!
Thank you for the excellent video! I have been working on restoring an old wooden boat. Your video helped me sort out the drum and cable steering. Great job and thank you again!
No problem at all. The drum can be a bit of a tricky thing to figure out. Good luck on your boat project! I know im having a blast getting mine all fixed up.
One of the elders and probably the most wise when it came to forest mushrooms and plants told me and my classmates that if we were to harvest chaga. To only harvest small chunks. Can’t really remember why tho
Hello from 100 Mile House. Watching you rig up the steering on your boat brought back some old good memories of going out in my grandfathers boat while growing up in Powell River back in the 70's. I think his was a 14 or 15ft. The boat had the same steering set up as yours. The steering wasn't hooked up right though - to turn right you had to turn the wheel to the left and vice versa. The steering took a bit of getting used to when I went out in that boat. Congrats on getting yours right the first time. Enjoy your videos. Keep them coming
Buick Outdoors, I can’t believe you did not recruit any help from down at the Possum Lodge ! I think it is right down the road from your place.😅 Howard is usually hanging around there.👍👍👍🇺🇸😎🙏🏽✌🏻
If you're trying to make money on your videos, learn how to do it first! All them cameras and all you managed to capture when you shot was your mug! Then you didn't bother showing a good shot of where the bear was laying, you hauled him out first.
Hey congratulations! - always nice to be able to get out on the water - fibreglass repairs are easy once you have the materials - hope that engine is reliable - cheers
Those Glass boats are very good. Putting another 1 K$$ in it? you have a great boat!! You can switch out the seats too ? if you want? Get some shellac sealer for the wood and you are good to fish!!! Well bought!!
She's a nice little boat i had the exact same one for years and loved it , looks to me like it's all minor stuff and easy to fix up , it depends on where you are but I've got all sorts of boat parts and fuel tanks if you need all for free
Thanks! I really appreciate the offer but I think I have the parts I need and Shelbys uncle just gave me a fuel tank. Its extremely nice of you to offer though.
The 261 is plenty for cutting firewood. You could even go smaller and still have an amazing saw. If youre cutting a couple cords per year, the 261 is more then capable. I heated my house strictly with wood in northern BC where the temps get to -40 and i would burn 4 cords, give or take, and this saw was plenty good enough for that. Plus I would cut firewood when we go camping and for other people from time to time. Its still going strong.
Absolutely! You also dont need the latest and greatest or the best to have fun. Its just as fun catching a fish in a old 12 foot aluminum boat as it is in a 22 foot ocean boat.
Hate lazy hunters that road hunt, you should worry about getting closer instead of shooting a mile away-- smarten up use your legs-- some hunters give real hunters a bad name-- get closer you wouldn't have a wounded bear.
I bought this same stove after watching this video directly from VEVOR in June 2024. The stove pipe that was included in my purchase is a swaged pipe not a tapered pipe so no need for clamps and no chance of the pipe collapsing. Though clamps are included, I won't use them. The swaged pipe is very rigid once assembled. My stove was 90% assembled. I only had to install the stove pipe flange and the damper on the front of the door. I'm very satisfied with the quality of this stove and I expect it to last years. It should be perfect for my 9.8' bell tent.
I have the same shotgun but in 12 gauge, made by high standard sold by Sears Robuck and co. branded JC Higgins, great shotguns. JC Higgins was an office worker for Sears and when his name was mentioned to upper management in a casual conversation management thought it was catchy , like Ted Williams who was actually great at sports but not JC, anyway JC was invited upstairs and asked if Sears could put his name on firearms, he agreed. there was a recall on these shotguns in 1990 due to bolt failure. (video on you tube by milsurp garage) very interesting.
Just out of warranty mine all but quit running. Took two Stihl shops and over $300 to determine it was the $45 solenoid. Recently it would quit as soon as it got warmed up. Dealer threw up his hands. I disassembled it, found nothing wrong and re-assembled it. Runs perfectly for now. Great saw when it runs! I'll never buy another M-Tronic.
Im not impressed by your hunting skills. Dont shoot if you are a little bit unsecure. And this time thera was no way to get a one more shot. Not good at all!
Well as a born and bred BC country boy myself, I have to say that would have taken some courage to do. Never hunted bear but growing up in the country about 3-4 hours south of you I have seen my fair share. Bears are fine when you can see them and defend yourself. A whole different matter when you can't see it and it's bloody wounded. Definitely not an experience I envy. Glad it all turned out in the end.
