So glad there are other Foster Parents out there! Hubby & I going to retire soon (more time to go to concerts). Our history: Beach Boys, Motown, Beatles, Moody Blues, Rollng Stones, Jimmy Hendrix, Chicago, Boz Scaggs, The Clash, R.E.M., Bruce Springsteen, U2 and now FOSTER THE PEOPLE! We have already seen them twice last year in DC - going to Philly in June. Gotta love that Interstate 95 corridor. So many FTP concerts and so little time! Waiting for next album - hoping for Downtown & Chin!
@Kandigalxx I do too. I have watched them on talk shows and in concert and the live version is where it's at. I am trying to find a way to download it on itunes . It's one of the grooviest songs I have heard in a while....
@hanctho12 well I could sorta understand why he's there: 1.) The Song does have a old school beat in it. 2.) The Man is trying to stay young 3.) He's Just Legit like that.
Outside of the lyrics, this songs melody could easily fit into a classic episode of Scooby Doo. I actually thought it was meant to sound like something from the late 60's or early 70's.
