Listen to the official audio for "Tabloid Super Junkie" by Foster The People. (C) 2014 Columbia Records, a Division of Sony Music Entertainment #FosterThePeople #TabloidSuperJunkie #Vevo
Supermodel came out when I was 19 and first moved to South Korea. THIS was the song I had on repeat in my headphones when I would take walks in the huge park next to my apartment. I can feel, smell, and just hear so many things just by listening to this song and its taking me back. I want to cry. Music is amazing.
Same, I was 19 years old when this came out, that was a very supportive album for me beacuse I was turning from a teen to an adult and that was a little complicated. Were very good times in 2014, going out with friends to walking outside at night, going to bars and parties in houses, not so much and 6 - 7 people parties but so much fun, fleeting romances, conversations at 3 AM with this song in the background... and precisely this song is my favorite from the album without being on it, probably my favorite from Foster the People. Now listening to Supermodel brings me a lot of nostalgia, I'm already 26, which isn't many years, but life has already changed. I hope my english was good jaja saludos desde Guadalajara, México.
Supermodel is the best album of 2010's decade.. It's absolutely amazing! it remembers me some of Beatles psichodelic years (like Magical Mistery Tour).
True that. It’s my favorite FTP album to this day. Torches may be objectively better, but Supermodel’s my favorite. It’s best listened to in one sitting.
A friend told me that this song for her is like the ''Bohemian Rhapsody'' of Foster the People because all of its phases. Since she said that, I've been listening to this song with other perspective.
Foster the People are a prime example of creativity and expression. Go Mark, Isom, and Mark #2. I'm from Ohio and they hardly recognize that Mark F....is from N.E. Ohio! Amazing at Bunbury in 2019!
It’s not even in the album but I remember they actually released it but took it out? 😭 it’s sad but the cd actually had the artwork for it but I guess they didn’t use it 😭
I think this song is about being a product of industry (we've sold our names). The first part he sings about the propost they receive on the feast capitalistic. The second part he sings the consequences of your choice: the fortune and fame when you're on a famous band.
February 2nd, 2018 - I go to a small charter high school, there was a school dance. The girl who knew I was crazy about her invited me out to dance and we had a connection. She saw a blonde senior boy, he drove a truck, worked, and was a not so great baseball player. She left me that night and broke our connection when she danced with him. At night when I got home I listened to this song and it comforted me but at the same time made me mad and now I listen to this song and always goes back to that memory.
Bro thats tough, hope everything is better now. I completely relate with you about Foster The People relaxing me during tough times. I'd listen to them during bus rides to my away football games. FTP is gonna stick with me through my whole life haha.
That sounds familiar. Pretty much the same story for me on April 13th 2013. (It affected me so badly that I do remember that date almost six years later, yes.) All I can tell you is even though it hurts like crazy now, things slowly return to normal and become okay again. There will be others in the future who are a better fit for you.
[Reversed Intro] Send in a dollar Send in a dollar if you want to contribute to the American Health Association [Verse 1] Well, the capitalistic feast has been sucking the heat You're passing up, you're injured for ability Well, I've been waiting for a compromise but I guess it's more the same We're separated all the things that we want for gain You remember your name Well, they were looking right at you, you forget the face If the future's sipping all space and food through a straw And the monster's finally flipped on its back Well, the static is a worthy test to help you brush aside the rest [Chorus] Is this something that you'd ever need? Well, I'm okay Are you scared to take what they've taken from you? Well, yeah, I'm afraid We've sold our names Send in a dollar if you want to contribute to the American Health Association [Verse 2] I'm sick of being accosted by the ghost in the street Your magazine looking backward thinking junkies are just fodder for the global elite Do you think you had a choice When you're eating and sleeping in all the noise? Let the moneymakers keep the politicians afloat We're biting everything that we're told Well, then a smile and a couple of jokes will be enough to convince the good folks [Outro] Well, is this something that you'd ever need? Well, I'm okay Are you waiting for a minute to fight for what they've taken from you? Yeah, I'm afraid We've sold our names [Instrumental]

For my beloved, Yowid. Im still here.. Waiting for you. Always. Come back soon, my dear. I'll always love you... Not to have be worried, dear... Just come, I miss you so :') -Dee
ok so there is a way to get it on spotify. First, download this video using a RU-vid to Mp3 website on your comuputer. I like to use this one: ytmp3.cc/en13/ . next, Go to your desktop Spotify. Go to your settings and scroll down until you see 'Local Files' and turn it on. On the left hand side you will see below your liked songs a tab called 'Local Files'. Make a new playlist and add this song to it. Next, you go to mobile spotify and download / like the song. and there you go, you've got Tabloid Super Junkie on Spotify. I believe this works with Apple Music too. Hope this helps!
because this song is part of a special edition of Supermodel, if I remember correctly that deluxe version of the album is only available in china or japan
