The amount of awareness she has for her age is amazing. The other babies are distracted and in their own world, which is normal for their age, but she is super aware that she has a friend in the world now. She’s not alone anymore. So precious ❤
Yeah it's called hypervigilance. That's what a lot of adoptees have to go through their whole lives. They don't get to play and relax like other children . She's probably repeating the word mommy from a situation of anxiety not love.
She's had no choice but to be hyper aware of her surroundings It's actually quite sad but I'm happy she now has a family that cares . May she continue to heal and grow.
it’s not for her age, it’s due to survival. it is beautiful she is happy now. and aware. but as beautiful as her awareness is, it’s much more haunting to know she hasn’t know that feeling before. or properly felt it.

It's terrifying for a infant and toddler to not have a mother to go and cuddle to when they are scared or hurt or hungry. Mothers are the most precious being a child needs.
Well it depends on the mother you have. I am waiting for her to die. so I know that I won't have thoughts of trying again and again and again with her, validate me as a person, as it's not going top be a possibility soon. I've tried. I'm unsure whether I'll be going to her funeral, I don't want to but I have grown up kids. and I think they probably will want to say bye. I'll go for them.
She looks like she almost can't believe that she's looking at her mommy. Her eyes are just sparked with the purest joy of love. I'm sure mommy is a wonderful one to have her child looking at her like that ❤️❤️

I dont normally get sappy, but this actually genuinely warmed my heart. I definitely feel this deeply because im an adopted child who loves her family more than anything. That little girl loves you so deeply and gosh, it just makes me so happy

@@genevievetraversy oh they do very much, i actually have siblings who are also adopted, so our family is a mix of a lot of colors. We al look different but our love is the same :)
Needn't say adopted!! It's just a matter of regulation. What matters is your parents and you, both made for each other. And the match making is done in heaven!!
Being adopted myself, at the age of 11. This is one of the sweetest things I’ve seen. I remember thinking “I finally have a mom, I HAVE A MOM” little girls life has been made.

Never was I 'picked' for adoption. As I grew older naturally became unadoptable.. hence always wondering why I wasn't good enough. The only solace was sitting out at night knowing somewhere out there under the same stars was a mother or father wondering or thinking of me? Adopt a child.

61-year-old man sitting here crying my eyes out my mom's been gone for 22 years now and I miss her everyday and I'm so glad that I have all the memories of my childhood still to this day my sister's a year older than me and she doesn't remember a whole lot of our younger years but I remember him like yesterday this is the most beautiful thing I've seen on RU-vid in months years thank you for sharing this thank you for showing the world how precious the love of a child really is oh man I got to go wipe my face off God bless everyone God bless everyone today and Merry Christmas

It seem to me she's still in a state of wonder. She looks at Mom almost in disbelief, then smiles and says as if to herself "Mommy, that's my mommy" Then she tells her teacher, smiles at her mom again, then turns to the little girl next to her and says the same thing. It’s as if She's making it real. Look, I really do have Mom and there she is! Gosh, this kid has such heart!!! Thank God a loving person like you was there for her!❤️🥰❤️👏🏼

So true. Mommy was my son's first word as well. I had him sitting in his stroller while I watered the garden. He said mommy!" I turned around and looked at him and he was looking dead in my face smiling. I was like "what did you say?!" It melted my heart ❤️

Little darling, I cant imagije her little heart hurting knowing she didn't have a mommy, and now she knows exactly what she has, and she's so proud and thankful. She's not taking her eyes off you. What a truly magical moment you caught on tape. @@lienbijs1205 unfortunately there are guarantees in adoption or with a biological child. I can put a video of my best friends 25 year old son that would give you second thoughts about having a biological child
