Found an INCREDIBLE hidden lake in Italy - Fusine Lakes [4K]

On our way from Slovenia to Italy, our first stop was this truly hidden gem in the mountains of Italy.
Located in Friuli Venezia Giulia, Laghi di Fusine, also known as Fusine Lakes in English, truly took our breath away. It is one of the most beautiful places we've visited in the mountains and it was so incredibly peaceful!
The area surrounding the Fusine Lakes is designated as a nature reserve to protect its unique ecosystem. The reserve is home to various species of flora and fauna, including rare alpine plants and bird species.
The Fusine Lakes consist of two stunning alpine lakes, known as Lago Superiore (Upper Lake) and Lago Inferiore (Lower Lake). They are situated in close proximity to each other, surrounded by majestic mountains and lush greenery.
The lakes were formed by glacial activity during the last Ice Age. As glaciers retreated, they left behind depressions in the landscape that gradually filled with water, giving rise to the beautiful Fusine Lakes.
The Fusine Lakes are known for their crystal clear, turquoise waters. The pristine quality of the lakes enhances the visual appeal and creates a tranquil and inviting atmosphere.
There were no other tourists around us, which makes it a truly beautiful hidden spot in the north of Italy.
The lakes provide a variety of outdoor activities for visitors to enjoy. Fishing enthusiasts can cast their lines into the lakes, while kayakers and canoeists can explore the calm waters. In winter, the lakes freeze over, creating a picturesque setting for ice skating and ice fishing.
It also offers photographers a paradise of natural beauty. The mirror-like reflections of the mountains on the calm waters, combined with the picturesque alpine backdrop, create breathtaking photo opportunities.
