Zagreb, the capital of Croatia that I'm presenting in this travel vlog, is a captivating city and one of our top favorites. It was our first stop in the incredible roadtrip around Europe we did last autumn.
Its charming streets, picturesque architecture, and vibrant cultural scene make it an enchanting destination. From the cobblestone lanes of the Upper Town to the lively markets and cozy cafes, Zagreb invites you to explore its unique character and immerse yourself in its warm and welcoming atmosphere.
We fell in love with Zagreb very fast, even though the weather was not the best. We still explored by foot everything (as most of the things were within walking distance) and I'm very happy that I got to visit this beautiful city in Croatia.
Zagreb is home to a unique museum called the Museum of Broken Relationships. It showcases personal items and stories donated by individuals from around the world, symbolizing the end of their love relationships. It's a one-of-a-kind museum that explores the complexities of human emotions.
Tkalciceva Street, a vibrant and bustling pedestrian street in Zagreb, is known for its unique and enchanting umbrella installation. This is a nice street where you can go especially if you want some great pictures!
Zagreb boasts one of the shortest funiculars in the world, connecting the Lower Town and the Upper Town. The Zagreb Funicular, built in 1890, is a popular mode of transportation that carries passengers up the steep incline in just under a minute. It's not only a convenient way to travel but also a charming piece of Zagreb's history.
