I know this is an older video but this is probably one of my favorites. I really like you guys and when you find something that is really profitable or a lot of money like that, I get really excited for you guys because I know how hard it is to haul all those units and you don't even really know if you're going to make money off of a lot of it but you have to load it up regardless. I used to do construction and remodeling so I know all too well, having to load so much stuff onto the truck not to mention I have moved so many times and I hate it. This is almost like moving multiple times a week. I just can't imagine but I do know that you guys very much deserve it. It almost seems like, because of what you said about him being in jail ending Court, as if that was his stash money, Bond money. There was probably someone else who he was going to tell about the unit in the event he got locked up and he could not get himself out. He could have been a drug dealer, why else would he be in and out so much. It could have been money that he knew he could go pick up real quick and run with it. I mean that's a good chunk of money to just leave sitting around like that in a storage unit. Either way, I'm really happy for you guys! I saw the video about where you lost everything and how the fireplace kept you warm yesterday and it just broke my heart that you had to go through that but God had bigger and better things waiting on you and you put so much hard work into what you do along with George oh, you guys deserve the best and that's why God gives it to you, you work very hard for it also! Those little security boxes are easily opened by jamming a knife in near the latch and sliding the latch open manually but not as dramatic as a sledge

I'm retired from the military, army. I was a 44k, textile and canvas repair specialist. I have worked on thousands of sleeping bag. trust me when I say some of the guys did not know to take care of their equipment. OK all that to tell you this, If I am not mistaken, the green bag is a liner for extreme cold weather. some of those bags can go below zero.

Those ceramic canisters can be cleaned with baking soda and salt. Make a paste and use elbow grease. For those Wolf Gang Puck Pots, use Bartenders Friend for stainless steel or baking soda . And they will come clean.

The sleeping bag is Army issue and the green outer is called a bivvy sac and it is a waterproof outer shell for the sleeping bag. Probably got it at a military surplus store

They knew what was in the storage unit so it wasn’t about not being able to pay for their unit. Someone had to clean up another’s belongings. Great find.

The Nikes could have been collectible. You should research things like that as some folks will pay for them. The lithographs, if original, look sixties and are probably collectible (the cars and airplanes). The medallion you found is a fake pewter guardian angel. They sell 'em at gift shops for about a buck, buck fifty. I have a similar one bought as a lark. The basket all those purses were in may be salable. Never mind--they're either Native American or African style purses--and might be salable as an ethnic item, on eBay, for those looking for similar kinds of things. Keep the papers with the chocolate tin carousel. They're the identifier for collectors of such things. Cookie jars are somewhat collectible. The green dish is Depression. Not uranium, I think. Milk glass looks new to me. But people still buy it. Old recipe boxes are sometimes collectible. The Feng Shui (air, earth, fire water) stuff is not at all valuable. Most of the Ghana art is tourist-y. Why the pop tabs is people STILL think that the urban legend that if you save them people can exchange them for kidney dialysis treatment. Totally untrue. But people believe it. The elephant is cool. Love the table. Bet there's a buyer for that, not cheap. Oh, and the money. Nice.

The mummy sleeping bags look to be the military issue my son had. One lighter one a little heavier, if it gets really cold the two go one inside the other and that black bag is for both of them the way it was packed.

Yes, the light greenish dish is Vaseline Glass which contains uranium in it for color. If you use a Geiger-counter on it you can see how much radiation is being emitted.

picking those safes w a paperclip and a flathead screwdriver takes less than a min to master. You could also order the key from the number on the front of the lock. Then you could sell the lockbox after its pillaged.

Wolfgang Puck stainless steel is great cookware! Clean the crap inside the cookware with Lime Away liquid. Just don't get that cleaner on your bare hands. Use rubber gloves! You'll be amazed how good that stuff would look. I have Wolfgang Puck cookware -- and it's NOT CHEAP!

You're right... people DO hide their stuff in weird places....like that sea salt rub that you didn't look into individually! I wouldn't hide stuff in them, just because I'm older and figure if I did something like that my family would never find it after I'm gone OR I might forget... it's practically guaranteed to get thrown away, but you never know!

We went to a wedding in Georgia and our family stayed in a rented lodge up in the Blue Ridge mountains. There was a designer suit in a bag that someone had forgotten behind a door in one of the bedrooms (turns out it was exactly my size, too) that had clearly been overlooked for some time. That same type of angel token with V+K on the back was in the inside pocket of the jacket. Gave it to my wife as good luck for our flight home.Not too lucky, though. Still married...
