Wow, those are beautiful. I remember digging a lot of holes as kid. It was kind of crazy how many times we would find random unidentified objects when we were just having fun digging holes. It's amazing how much stuff that's out there just waiting for a curious person with nothing but a shovel. Thanks for another inspiring video.

Great video Jake! Good luck tomorrow! Those crystals rock. I'm definitely going to be hitting up the local quartz crystal mine once the weather up here in NY starts to heat up. For now I will have to settle on using a chainsaw to get through the ice, my survival suit, and metal detector to find some treasure in what's not frozen... The lake bed. As always man have a good one!

A safety tip when working in a trench, tapper the sides back to prevent the walls from collapsing in on you. Great video though.

Your friend has the certification to run the piece of equipment so he should have the safety knowledge that getting down in a hole that he dug without the steel barriers is very unsafe. People have been killed when the walls have caved in on them. Suffocation happens very fast when dirt crushes in around a persons body.

WOW. I can't believe you are here in this part of NC! You, Yappy, and Jordan are the reason why my hubby and I wanted metal detectors and fishing magnets for Christmas this year and we bought them. You should be using wall support when working below 5 feet in depth, wall collapses are horrific to witness, very often you can not excavate a person quickly enough to save them from the dirt crushing their lungs. Have fun guys but you need wall support for the depths your are digging. Please do consider looking into this.

Hi Jake I really like your videos😀 but being in that hole it's not a very good idea man is risky and dangerous😧..ground can release gas any can kill you plus when dig that deep you must put something around to hold the ground before you go in. so take care and good luck man

FYI: if those walls cave in you will be a goner if your around 9-10ft. I’ve been in 2 cave ins. One was up to my chest and couldn’t move and another was just below my chin.
