Tom the Turkey joins us for our latest Foundation Paper Piecing Series tutorial! Dressed in his holiday best, this adorable appliqué turkey brings a playful touch to your table as friends and family gather around to enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving feast.
In this video, Jen shows you how to use our kit to accurately foundation paper piece your project, and takes you through each step from assembly to how to appliqué Turkey Tom using the pre-fused laser cut pieces included in the kit!
The Foundation Paper Piecing - November Kit will come with everything you need to make the process easy including patterns printed on foundation paper, stickers to label your fabric, and an extra set of paper piecing patterns and stickers for you to practice on your own fabric. I prefer capon vs turkey as I am a fan of white meat. ( capon for those who do not know , is a neutered rooster) smaller in size so perfect for 3-4 people with leftovers. I think Tom Turkey is adorable. Deborah Powell

I do have the Nov kit but I do not have a light board. Is the a possible substitution I can use

Happy that you got the kit! You will love it! There is a couple solutions you can do. You can use the natural lighting of a window on a bright day or if you have any plastic storage tubs; turn it upside down and place a flash light or a cell phone flash light inside it.
