Those were some angry bees. I watched a few bee keeper video's and they are in total denial that Africanized bees could enter their areas. When I commented on their video where he had to dispatch an unruly hive I asked if the could have been Africanized? Boy did I get some mean replies LOL told I was paranoid, crazy etc. Deniers are mean. LOL
I don’t really understand this issue. Beekeepers thinking it’s all a big ConsBEEracy. It should be fairly obvious that the behavior and genetics are different
Find out about the solution made from dishwasher liquid. That kills them too. The other program seals the hole then you put the solution in a small hole then seal that.
So once they're disturbed, how long does it take for them to settle back down? I realize this was months ago so am just asking to know the opponent. I've been watching in my area and noticing where bee boxes are since stumbling onto your site earlier this year. I'm in SE Kansas and so far no news of them showing up here yet. My brother in Missouri was keeping bees but gave them away, saying they'd become to aggressive for him. He didn't think they were the killer bees. I'm thinking the hive probably had taken on some killers.
I'm going to recommend you consider trying flypaper. Ranch supply stores sell wide flypaper. Comes in tubes like tinfoil,/plastic wrap. Make a couple of stands that are easy for you to set up when you work. Tall stakes with paper draped over. The bees will stick.
“The Carl Malden effect”,….as soon as you said that, I was wondering how many of your viewers were thinking, “Carl Malden, who’s that?” Thanks for reminding me that I’m an old man.😂 Not only great videos, but the education about their super aggressive nature can’t be overstated. Thanks!, I get a ton of info from you guys.
Nice job, here in Norther Sweden we've got almost no frogs left, things are pretty dramatic, uh, a lot of native animals has gone. So from here to there, non native / invasive species do so much harm. Almost the same in most countries, thankfully, no bees at all here, or rather, I miss the old, real... bees, now there's you know, no pollinators here, we didn't even get our regular strawberries and such this year in the yard, first time in what, 90 years or something for my mother. Pretty crazy stuff. Btw, how do you spell Ho... Hosh? Hosch? I dig the patches, the dragon is stylish. Sorry if I butchered the name, I can hopefully spell Reed but yeah, Sweden, so not my native language. ;) had to re-learn it after dying 2014 so bear with me here :') anyway, I remember people were angry at the Africans for a while, not really sure why, not like they wanted their bees to end up in South America, heck, I think it was the crossbreed that made them so god dang aggressive, not that they weren't protective before but still, seems almost insane how they swarm now. Good luck and bless. Indeed saviors :)
Just a tip, I. Sure you know this but sometimes if you do rural beehives you can record them in perfect quality and post the video. This live is very grainy unfortunately. ✌🏽your pal from Detroit, BT
I love the humor. Reminds me of my hubby who is always cracking jokes lol you need to have humor to keep y'all sane and balanced. Keep on keeping on xoxoxo God bless you both and all first responders ❤❤❤
@@KillerBeeGuy Right! First Responders are the backbone of this country, whenever shit hit's the hive. I gain increasing respect for the work you take on & the risk to your health as well. You read these good words, but cannot hear the applause coming to ya. It's there, you just have to click your heels together 3X & yell "get these F-ing bees off of me"
I have heard of using CO2 to kill a hive. The downside is that the hive needs to be sealed or sealable with the opening at or near the top. The CO2 fills up the space, and the bees die almost instantly. After, the CO2 disperses, and nothing is poisoned. I suppose that would work best with fire-ants.
hahhahahaa the older guy cracks me up. i spend half the video laughing my ass off. for those who dont know about killer bees all you need to know is they are aggressive little murdering little buzzing bastards and you need to stay the hell away from them unless you want to get pwned by them. they will follow you and hit your off button. Great chemistry with these two guys. love these videos. hate bees but love these two dudes
Your both brave souls my friend in Texas was attacked by these killers and he jumped in to a dirty cow traooft filled with water it saved him but he had hundreds of stings.
Your education in every video works. This guy gets it. I used to want to get a honeybee hive for my vegetable garden. Because of you guys I educated myself to promote native pollinators on the other side of the country in Rochester, NY. Plus my wife is now Ok when I order your honey. She doesn't question it any more when we're butt naked in the hot tub. She likes that wild honey in her tea now.
@@KillerBeeGuy I don't make mustard...I make Carolina BBQ sauce out of mustard. But I heard about this guy in Arizona that makes good mustard that I will make my BBQ sauce with.
@@KillerBeeGuyI'm still traumatized from watching Hosh eat goat innards with mustard! My dad did crap like that. Raised sheep, and had my mom cook the brain for him. 🧠🐑 I asked why he would quip that it would make him smarter, when he'd always said they were the stupidest animals God ever made when they frustrated him 🤷♀️.😂
Why not try an retrieve the honey and sell it on the side like other bee keepers would be worth the extra time to take that fountain down right? Homeowner can’t say to much look at all them her
New subscriber here. I’m from Florida and I thought fire ants were bad, they got nothing on those guys. Thanks for all of the information, I’m a newbie to understanding about killer bees. Stay safe. ❤
Same here , never knew they were this aggressive, scary . Thank you for sharing what you do and teaching us everything you know!! You guys also crack me up!!! I used to live in the Southwest now I’m in Florida and remember having aggressive wasp problems back home more than bees where I lived, hated them too!! Hugs guys!!
I just had a brilliant idea you need to put out WARNININGS on the pathways and walkways with a sign at each entrance saying DANGER KILLER BEE REMOVAL IN PROGRESS
Please, you people and the USA as a whole. keep these things there, your long term allies the UK; really do not need those beasts over here. many thanks.
You should have your own show on TV. I was thinking about what if you have a over size vacuum to collect them in areas where people live so none escape. I love the humor the both of you have. Great keep on killing it.
@@KillerBeeGuy Hi, I commented on previous video- anyway this video won’t let me comment-reason I’m using yours here to someone else. I use an IPAD-Utube. ‘Normally videos are very Clear, but this one is very blurry’ I’ve been giving you 👍on all videos I’m watching. I’ve been going back to 2-3 years ago as I find what you’re doing as very interesting + important to bring awareness to people. ***I live in FLORIDA***
Some people I know who live in Oklahoma keep honey bees. They had a nice calm hive that one day killed a chicken. They thought it was a fluke but the next day they came after the dad when he started to mow the lawn, on the opposite side of the yard. They suited up, something they rarely did as their hives were gentle, and found a new queen was in the box. They marked their previous queen, They removed the new queen and replaced her with a new calm queen. The hive killed the new queen and were determined to create their own mean queen. They removed all new eggs to stop them from making their own, waited 2 weeks and again gave them a new queen. The hive let her lay eggs, then again killed the new calm queen and were making their own mean queen. They had to kill the whole hive as they became more and more aggressive. They sent samples to the state to be tested and they were hybrids, part killer bees and part European honey bees. When enough of the hybrids were in the colony their aggressive behavior took over the calm docile ones. Sometimes a new queen from a calm hive will mate with a drone from a killer bee hive and she will pass along those genetics into all of her eggs.
How about putting maybe a leather Velcro small patch where your noses touch the net on the inside and out of the nest Velcro so that it’s removable no more than a small square so that it doesn’t obstruct your vision but prevents contact with the bee
Hello from Saskatchewan Canada 🇨🇦. If you look at my name I get a little scared! I happened across you from Jeff Herschoff the honey bee guy from the Abbey. How I wish all the bees were like his. You have totally enlightened me and I’m afraid. You say the killer bees are in Alberta. I live in the province next door. I was born in Sweden and don’t recall seeing bees. Is there a danger there? I have a honey bee guy friend and most of his bees have died because of mites. I honour what you do. People have no idea! I’m 70 years old and never knew until now. I only pray that you all stay safe. Congrats. On the new baby. Love your sick jokes in very difficult times. I don’t know how many times I’ve heard 1957. lol. God bless you and what you do. Please stay safe.
Welcome to the hive!! Check out 'Hem's Holistic Honey channel here on YT. They are in the UK and have experienced some seriously aggressive hives that could be Africanized!
Hi guys! We finally got to watch this at 9pm. We looks forward to it. 😊 By the way, I had to join from my laptop and now that I’m a member, I can see the membership button on my phone.
Also when just exterminating using an fog machine with a mixture of flying insect insecticide just simmering about the area. With you both wearing a mask 😷 of course maybe that’ll prevent so many escapees
Are you obligated to kill as many bees as you can because they are such a threat? The county ought to pay a bee bounty, like 2$ a bee to you, but I guess it would be difficult counting them!
@@KillerBeeGuy thanks for answering. I watched a bee show from LA and they showed how the bees chewed up and spit out the expanding foam that was used before.
Oh and by the way your video quality is very low and pixelated. I thought it was my internet provider lowering mine but I upped it to 480 and it was still there. I watched the recorded version.
